After Ron Paul dropped out of the '08 presidential run I voted for Barrack Obama because I trusted McCain's judgement even less. I really hoped that Obama was going to be different and use his historical presidency to make a U.S course correction (perhaps not my idea of course correction, but one nonetheless). I harbor no illusions that he's anything but status quo and in one fell swoop this last nail in the coffin wiped away any doubt in my mind that the "Establishment" isn't to be trusted.
