It sounds like a mix of her live singing and her version of "Fly Like a Bird" from her Adventures of Mimi tour. You can see where it switches from live to lip singing. Her voice (when live) sounds tired, stressed, distended and not rested. The lipped parts only make the live parts sound worse. I love Mariah. She can't sing like she did 20 years ago, but she's still very talented and better than most pop singers.  She just needs to rest and sing properly. Not a bad performance,just not good

I like her voice, but she's a bit overrated. There are plenty of singers more soulful, and plenty of vocalists that are more powerful. Don't get me wrong I like Mariah, but I think its wrong to place her on such a high pedestal.

@MrFutureseer I will agree that there are more soulful singers, but I literally grew up on Mariah and her voice is worthy of being put on a pedestal. The accomplishments that shes had in her career, most people will never reach. A lot of singers don't manage to have a career lasting over 20 years. A lot of singers don't have 18 #1 hits. A lot of singers don't sell over 10 million copies of an album, especially in year 2005 when most people just download music illegally. Mariah = amazing

As far as I can tell, this is 100% live. I know you're not a fan of Mariah and all, but even you can't throw the lipping title on her in this performance.

I doubt she lipped this, especially since it wasn't her best performance of Fly Like A Bird. This is actually one of the less stellar ones, so she wouldn't lip unperfection.
