From what i see and hear, now this is just my thoughts. I think he has "Polamalu" like abilities while pursuiting the opponent. And hits like Roy Williams, and Sean Taylor(R.I.P). With a Laron Landry type speed(i wouldnt say speed, but range). I think he will be breed into a great safety, with those skills, and learning from the best ball hawk safety in the NFL.(sharper). I hear his coverage skills arent the best, but thats what Sharper is for. Skol Vikes!

they aren't the worst pass defensive team realistically though. If you look at how many pass attempts were thrown against them compared to an average team in the NFL its twice as much. Teams do not run on them since they are so dominant. Jared Allen has been the second best pass rusher in the past 4 years (behind Jason Taylor) and is in the prime of his career. The Vikes may very well have the best defense in the NFL this year.

the vikes have done a good job filling holes they had on their team. the basics to a good team involves running the ball and stopping the run, 2 things the vikes do better then any1. adding the talent they did in the off season and now in the draft puts them in contention for the division title and possibly conference title. the season will be determined all on quarterback play, if jackson can manage the game and not make many mistake at an important point then the viks will be a realy good team

He probably wont be next year but sharper will for sure teach him a shit ton about the NFL and will probably turn the reigns over to him within the next year or two. I really like what the vikes have done this offseason.

When you coach, you realize what players turn out great, 10 years after the fact. You then spend the next 10 years of your career trying to pick players that remind you of the HOF you coached. Vikings appear to be building a Philly caliber defense that's good enough to get you to four championship games. I think this player reminds the coach of Brian Dawkins. He also looks like a someone who might be able to tackle Hester. You can never have enough players who can really run and tackle. Solid D

I understand that must this isn't a "sure thing." This class for safeties is horrible...so it does very little to make me feel good about taking the "best" safety in this years draft. We didn't get an Ed Reed, Bob Sanders, Roy Williams like player! We got a Tank Williams/Mike Doss type of player. We should've just kept them two.
