Now then, about Shiny Pokémon. Yes, in the 3rd generation Pokémon games and beyond, Shiny Pokémons' stats are no better than normal Pokémons'. In the 2nd generation, "Shinys" are determined by their IVs. Speed, Defense, and Special IVs need to be 10 while Attack needs to be 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14 or 15. Since IVs range from 0-15, Shinys are SLIGHTLY better than average.

Since IVs help determine the stats for a Pokémon, then Shiny Pokémon will have SLIGHTLY better stats.

So yeah, having three IVs at 10 (plus the possibility of Attack being 10 or higher) when the range is from 0-15 (center of this range is 7) would mean that Shiny Pokémon WOULD have SLIGHTLY better IVs than average, which then affects their stats.

I got Mewtwo in Pokémon Red. Then I used the Nintendo 64 transfer pack to transfer him into Pokémon Stadium. That's why he's level 70 and not one of the default Free Battle levels from Pokémon Stadium.

Indeed. that''s because it's RED'S hat. (The playable character in RGB/Y and male one in FRLG. He was also the first main charcter in Pokemon Special manga and recurring PokeDex holder after the first arc. Though Speical isn't in the same continually as as the games they're different versions of the same character. Ash (or Satoshi) is based on him. Ash is NOT the playable character for the games like many think. Red returns in brawl as "Pokemon Trainer" featuring his updated desgin used in FRLG

You missed a couple of things like Pikachu's green top hat came from the gentlemen rank pokemon trainers in pokemon R/B/Y.And Jigglypuff's pink bow came from the pink bow in G/S/C that powers up normal type pokemon.

they originaly put all this changing color thing beacause of the "revolutionary" (don't know the spelling)team battles in wich your team its supossed to be all alike so.. dont mind but some colors just have no explaination (also don't know th spelling)
