Shaman in an RvR Scenario (Warhammer Online Beta)

i would say the combat system in this game is more or less a combination between final fantasy XI and WoWs combat system, its abit more ''slower'' thn wow in a way, and faster thn FFXI, but thats good in fact, makes you get more time to actualy lay a tactic and use ur brain for once and not only all about having best gear and shit, myself? i have full arena gear in wow and literaly is bored of that, so Warhammer looks fun, could be fun to try something else for a change.

k, this video has completely turned me off on the game. fighting is so slow paced. when he is fighting the dwarf tank halfway through they both get tired of running around and fighting and just stand there trading blows. how is this fun?

Thank you for making an informed decision and choosing not to play Warhammer. Having less whiners in the game from the start will definitely increase the amount of fun I have. Very good. You can go offensive, like me in the video, defensive for decent healing, or buff/debuff oriented if you want to use a bit more group strategy.

No matter which path you pick, you can still heal, do damage, or debuff, but choosing certain masteries will unlock more special abilities.

They play really well, but don't let an MDPS get on you... you will die fast.

You can´t compare W.A.R to WoW. Sure,there are healer classes in W.A.R, too,but they are not those "supporter-only" classes as you know them from WoW. Shaman is one of those healer classes,his Job is based on healing,but he can do much damage if you play him right.

the green beam is a skill called Gork sez stop! whenever u use that on a moving enemy, they take damage, only when they move.

To be fair, that Ironbreaker didn't seem to be doing much of anything. I loved the Runepriest fight and the Shaman shouting out, "Not the face!" It adds a whole new level of character.

I've fought 2handed ironbreakers who do a LOT more damage to me. This fight took forever because he was specc'd for protection and I was specc'd for damage. Even though my damage is decent, he has a TONNE of HP to burn through.
