@CloudmoonXX This is the original Left 4 Dead, about a week after release. I'm playing online versus. At the time, there was a random chance every round for a tank to show up. If a tank appeared to stop the first team, a tank would also show up during the next teams turn. It was a pretty neat mechanic, because if you played as the infected team first, you knew exactly when the tank was going to occur while you were playing as survivors. The game has since been patched many times.

i have l4d1 and l4d2 i would buy l4d 1 because if you play versus it makes more fun as infectid than in l4d2 there isnt so fun as hunter,wall jumps and pounces are very boring because there arent so many tall trees or other places but in l4d2 are the weapons better and the campaingn -.- in l4d2 is more taktik than fun in versus^^in my opinion is l4d better than l4d2

@Karmelloo Some of the new features (advanced gore) and crescendo's are pretty cool, but you're right. Good old vanilla L4D is where it's at, the new game just doesn't have that awesome atmosphere that keeps you and your team packed tight together. I've owned the second game for months now and I've yet to complete 3 of the campaigns, nor do I have a desire to any time soon.

hell not, boomers if they are in the right position (for ex. no mercy on the high building) when they shoot u and they are near they get knocked back, this can be used to push em off the edge. i used it once and all 4 of them fell. PWND
