So I am trying to figure out how to get the loop that I create into my mix window so I can layer it in with other vocals that I am working on.... Probably something that is super easy but I just can't seem to figure it out.... any suggestions?
Man, I love these videos! Extremely well produced and and organized, and they quickly show me how to do a lot of the things I didn't even know PT8 could do! Thanks a bunch!

(I'd love to see 720p in the future - even 480 is a bit too blurry.)
if I have to click three times to draw or erase a step, then its an epic fail. I can load a 808 kit in fruity or rebirth and program a pattern fast. even reason has the same interface as a real 808. its a switch for accent. hit the switch then draw the notes. can this be changed in boom to be one velocity layer by default?
I cannot find boom in pro tools. Its probably something really obvious. Can someone help me???

Is it just an endless loop for the entire song or can I edit on a measure by measure basis?

Are those the only kits available on boom?...are there any real kit sounds?

One question - can I make a MIDI pattern with BOOM that I can send to a different MIDI drum kit or do I have to use the BOOM samples?

Maybe I just don't know Boom well enough but I find Logic's Ultrabeat more flexible.

i didn't care for boom. I find it better to just use the kits in expand and loop that.

What didn't you like about it (the sounds, user interface, etc)?

Boom is great. The easiest I have ever worked with and it sounds great and is very interactive.
