What liquid foundation are you using? Your skin color looks about the same as mine, and I always try picking the lightest tone I can, aaand it always ends up turning kind of orange later. I also don't use a primer, so maybe that could be it. But that foundation your using looks perfect! You're gorgeous, by the way. :]

@heyitsrosie You can buy these things from wal-mart, they are from Clean&clear and Its Called- "Oil absorb Sheets" Its like a really small paper but Its soft and you rub it on your face, no water or anything needed, and It actually shows you how much oil is on your face. Its cheap too

Often foundation can cover more than you expected. So you can save concealer by using foundation and then using concealer to cover up anything the foundation hasn't :)

No matter how much I exfoliate, patches of dry, dead skin show when I put on the foundation (even without powder). I use to have really bad acne, now it's better, I get blemishes but I do have acne scarring and uneven skin tone, pigmentation.

@79meher don't exfoliate too much, because you are stripping the skin of the natural oils, which makes your skin dryer and that's why you get those horrible dry patches. i'm currently using the makeup forever hd foundation and it covers my acne and spots amazingly! when applying your makeup concentrate the heavier makeup just on your problem areas, don't apply a mask of foundation everywhere, just where you need it. hope i helped xxxx

i know this is an old video, but don't the pimples look dry and cakey after applying either foundation or concealer?? mine do. By the way, use lemon and sea salt to wash or better said exfoliate your skin, it kills the bacteria, clears blemishes and leaves skin soft...and it's natural !!!

I don't think their is any harm in covering blemishes on special occations.That is why I created this video. For the days when you want to cover them. I hate concelaling blemishes, I use Cover FX concelor, in light. And Mac NC 20 Studio Fix Foundation. the color doesnt match as well as id like, guess ima try the mac concealor the same color as the foundation. Any suggestions?

Same here I thik its from the MAC foundation or primer im using,,,I use the MAC Studio FIX, & Porefessional fromBenefit.. same here dry skin and blemishes in same spots.. I dont wear it everday, Ima bout to switch to bare minerals cus I used to use Neutrgena and it never broke me out, so it has to be the heavy arse MAC, which i luv but HATE the breakouts, I even wet my sponge so its not so thick...PS. TRY apple cider vinegar on ur acne (Organic)

1. wash and moisturize skin

2. apply mattifying cream with sunscreen

3. Brush powder on

4. spot treatment with powder

this is what i do and it works really well to cover any blemishes I might have

I don't have perfect skin but its not too bad at the moment and this really helps

I have a problem with bad breakouts as well and sometimes i get huge spots and i pick them. i know your not meant to, but then the skin on the spot becoms kind of flaky and uneven and when i try to apply concealer, it just emphasises the flakyness. i tried using a primer on the blemish to make the skin there smoother, but it doesnt work. urghhh. any tips? and thank you for making this video. it really helped me

@aliciaqin1 For those the best thing to so is to treat them with some kindof cream over night, that will bring down the swelling without drying them out too much. I dunno if you have heard of some thing called Sudocreme very popular here in Ireland for spots.
