Never got the system cable. The only place I could find one was in the US but it would cost far too much to get it over to the UK and I think it cost around £70 nevermind shipping.
Sadly no. Ive looked all over the place without success. Even spoke to Sony and they have said that they dont do them anymore and there is no alternative!!! Did find out place but they are out of stock.
Love the setup, i have the very same sony mds-sd1 player,brilliant sound,and records real well, not sure how to use everything yet because there was no manual with it , paid £30 for mine plus postage off amazon, Brian
mini disc could have saved the recording industry if they only knew what they had had , the music companys would have made more money

I had all 3 with speakers with lights, owned it for 5 days - burgler took it.....
would love another it wrecked my 2000 celebrations !!!

Well looks like Ive managed to source a cable from the US possibly!! Fingers crossed, expensive though!!

Finally got the tape deck. Just need one more system control cable that links the tape deck to the minidisk. Any idea where to get them from?
