Anyone who caught The Quireboys live 89-93 will have often seen the Red Dogs playing with them. Footage has recently been rediscovered and is now on youtube. Do a search for "Red Dogs Working Late" to bring up the video for the single or "Red Dogs Super Channel" for two live tracks and small interview. Hope it brings back memories for some of you.
Been a fan since 1991. Then grunge came and killed them. Then grunge died and the boys are back. And I am still a fan. Rock N Roll! :D Spike looks really cool here. He is the reason why I started wearing jackets in the early 90's. Long hair, tight jeans, open blouses, clean shaved, nice jackets. I love that Rock N Roll look. And I still wear jackets and try to look like him today.
saw these guys backing whitesnake in 2004 sadly then i only knew one song (hey you) but have recently heard a few more i will catch them again as spike is a fellow geordie. I dont think there stuff has aged like sum late 80's/early 90's glam rock
I was going to make fun of this band when the video first started,(Big Hair/80's/Anvil curse/etc.etc.) but this is a damn good song!! The 2nd song...not so much.
I love that band met them the 24th it was real cool. Cool guys, helped me in backstage and gave me Jack Daniels. If you haven't seen them you should ;)
Yeah, it is called, 'Right On Track'. There isn't a studio version (or at least a released one) and this live version appears on the recently released, Best Of. They used to open their set with it on the Bit Of What You Fancy Tour 1990. Great band, still rockin!!!
Seems to be called "Right on track". Can't find it on any studio album, but it appears on the "Best of the Quireboys" 2-cd. As this live recording. You can at least se the tracklisting on the brittish Amazon.
