I have celestia, from where I can get this script? what is its name buddy? I wanna load it and watch it in high detail myself and probably show it to my friends too.
I pull out this point when I get religious people (from different religions) trying to convert me... I just remind them how big the universe is and ask why their god would care about something so small... shuts them up instantly. On a physics point, do you think we should start working on ways to move off this planet to live on others? the sooner the better?
@DelltaAce Because God is awesome enough to create all the vast corners of the universe, but loving enough to care about all His creations, no matter how small they are compared to the whole thing. God created us so that He could give us His love, and He created the wonders of the universe for us to see and explore. Think of all of space as being a big canvas on which God painted a marvelous picture just for us.
There must be other life somwhere in the Universe..I do believe that.. I`m not sure i like being so small though. I do feel lucky to know as much as i do, but a little fed up that i won`t live long enough to find out much more..Maybe our biological form is just one of many ways to exist, after all we are made almost entirley of space.
It seems logical to me that if sub atomic particles are able to arrange themselves into Atoms that are really just Energy, the possiblitiy for life are certain.?
I think that every planet that have liquid water on the surface ...have life ... because 10 % off all planets have composition like earth ...then life is comon thing...but the real question is "is there intelligent life '' <<< that my frends we will now if '' they''' contact us ...but thil then we are alone.... and it is better that way ...because star wars will be Inevitable ... i am sure about that...
When my Astronomy Professor speaks about the solar system it really fathoms my mind.
It takes approx. 7 minutes for the light from our sun to reach Earth. It takes over 4 years for the light from Proxima Centauri to reach Earth. Bear in mind, it's the next closest star. 4 years at the speed of light. That's ridiculous.
Then you think as far away as it is, it might not have one Earth-like planet in its orbit. If something were to happen to our sun, we would have no where to go.
I allways wondered what someone would see that stand on the farest galaxy we can see. A dark side and a side with stars? I think they would also see galaxies that are even further away. The universe must be bigger as we think. Could be even billions of flex google light years ... and even more.
It is only possible for light to travel 16 billion light years. So from earth we can only see 16 billion light years away, so we think thats how old the universe is.
But what if you stood 16 billion light years away and you could see another 16 billion light years.
Its quite amazing really. There is a possibiity that there are civilizations right here in our own galaxy just rising up out of the soup, also its quite possible there are civilizations that are quite more far advanced than us. Unfortunately were to busy fighting with ourselves to want to leave our howmworld..im sure if we put our minds to it we can do alot more.
Our galaxy has more than 400 billion stars and is more than 150,000 lightyears wide (end to end). Their are almost 500 billion galaxies in the known universe. The known universe is almost 160 billion lightyears in diameter. Space is not infinite but it is probibly more than several dozen times larger than listed. It is possible that their is extraterrestrial life.

God takes three days to make the earth, one day for the stars just because they are just soo small because red giants aren't as complex as the earth.

It is only possible for light to travel 16 billion light years. So from earth we can only see 16 billion light years away, so we think thats how old the universe is.
But what if you stood 16 billion light years away and you could see another 16 billion light years.

Use END key and hold it. I use addon for celestia so you might not have the image of thousands of galaxies.
