In addition, where is the claim that Hung Chien Liang is a 'self appointed' grandmaster? Maybe not. Don't care. If it's Willy Lin, here's a quote from him "Lin maintains that he is responsible for the naming of the style as "Tien Shan Pai" in the US, that this name encompasses all of Wang's curriculum. He further states that Wang, Jyue Jen is the creator (the Founding Generation) of this style, and that this system, now known as Tien Shan Pai, dates from the 1940s."
Hey, Akaoushi. Proof to back up what claims? Claims about where TSP came from? Several key students from STP have traveled to Tian Shan, and there is no school, no sign of it or anything. I like the style, I also practice Bagua, Yang and Chen Taiji, Da Heng Chuan and Xing Yi. However, I don't mind admitting that the origina of the style is, at best questionable.
No sham, it is what it is and has become. "Pai" is a school of boxing, a "way" of how a system is practiced and performed. It is a solid school of boxing, and the results of this "pai" speak for themselves. When I say "dragging" is to implicate someone a to a status that we all know is not true. And what is this about these "threats" being issued that if a certain person does not edit their web site, great bodily harm (almost mafia style) will happen to them? THAT...! is dragging down a art.
@Akaoushi Do you REALLY believe the tale that was told to you that with ALL these other senior GM's alive, there would be a private, hidden ceremony to apppoint a junior to head TSP? If you do, well, that's on you. Have fun.
your making a claim or statement and all I did was ask you for proof, you seem incapable of providing that, so seems to me that you are the one that has had a "fast one pulled on you".
Wang never claimed TSP was his creation; he claimed the contrary. The Tien Shan are home of a Daoist lineage of Meditation and Qi Kung, as well as the Wild Goose Qi Kung system; BOTH claiming to be as old as Wang claimed TSP was. Rich, you don't know what you are talking about with regards to the origin of TSP.
Sorry, this is not a TSP form... it is an add-on and not part of the original curriculum of Wang Chueh Jyne. Wang Chueh Jyne is the creator of TSP. NOBODY in China has ever heard of TSP. It started in Taiwan with Wang.

This is not Tien Shan Pai, and the guy in Maryland is "self appointed grandmaster" as we all know.
Please do not continue with more lies like that. You drag the art down.
