according to the union tribune's web blog The fire alarm went off on june 30th 09 because of a baggage cart inavertently pulled the fire alarm in a baggage area.

We were flying stand by so we were waiting while everyone else was getting on... and basically before they told us whether there was seats or not this started happening and they were kinda rude and started herding us into the "safe part" of the airport near the luggage... The airplane left without us.
