Great music from the movie The Right Stuff also one of the best films ever made. A great American film. Who's the best pilot you ever saw?- Gordo Cooper in the Right Stuff.
Great music from the movie The Right Stuff also one of the best films ever made. A great American film. Who's the best pilot you ever saw?- Gordo Cooper in the Right Stuff.
ok so i recognised nearly all of these movies and have loved all of them, there's one movie there that ive seen though i dont remember the name. its that peter sellers movie with the guy riding off the nuke waving his hat. that was such a classic scene but can you enlighten me on the name?
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. No one else you know likes "To Kill a Mockingbird?" That's horrifying. I guess it's just a good thing that the both of us know what makes a good film.
Thats a good question. There's a few movies I just forgot about or didn't have room to edit in. I feel stupid having forgot "Taxi Driver," though. lol
This was great! Except now I've got to make a list and see most of these again. Where to start? Hmm, let's see. "West Side Story", "Blazing Saddles", "Dances With Wolves", "The Great Escape"...
It's not incredibly difficult. This is a great compilation of movies which are classics, or on there way to becoming classics, most known to any film buff. I only missed Double Indemnity, and Adams Rib.
Someone's a film student... Loved it. Almost went to fast, mostly because I just wanted to re-watch a lot of movies after seeing just those clips. Great job, I support not adding Titanic. It was a great movie, but some of the ones in there were far better, would have liked to see Apocalypse Now though.
What about La Voyage dans la Lune, where the spaceship lands in the moon's eye? That's a pretty iconic film moment. Or the Battleship Potempkin, when the baby's pram goes down the stairs? Something from A Streetcar Named Desire? Oh, I'm only kidding. Great video!
I could probably write a glossary of the films I didn't include. There's so many great movies out there, I wish I could've included them all, but I only had five minutes to fill. I'll be making another video soon with the clips I forgot.
Wow. I just have to comment this again. You are amazing. I would show that anywhere and pass it off as a professional montage. They should play it at the Oscars! They have some pretty good montages, but this might give them a run for their money!!!
Very touching stuff. I truly believe these compilations could create a new artistic field, a bit like "patchwork with different kind of paper or images in old days.
Provided one follows a guide line; such as color, situation, kind of action, or whatso ever ,this would be very soon popular. Daniel.
Sorry. I forgot it. I could probably name about a hundred other movies I forgot. So pretty soon I'm going to make another video with new and different clips.
Loved this! Now I have to check out some of those b&w classics I haven't seen before.
One question in my mind unless I missed it--what about Robin Williams or Robert De Niro unless I missed them. Thanks, this made me smile and cry. What is the soundtrack please??
The music is from "The Right Stuff." It was written by Bill Conti, the same guy who wrote the theme to "Rocky." Robin Williams can be seen in a clip from "Hook," quickly after the Peter Pan clip. I think the only Robert De Niro clip I have is one of him punching at the camera from "Raging Bull." By the way, if you need any b&w suggestions, I'll gladly offer some. Thanks for your compliments!
¡Acojonante tío! Apenas he podido contener las lágrimas. Una compi brutal. Fav clips: Casablanca, The Searchers , Sunset Blvd., North By Northwest, Psycho, Strangers on a Train, E.T., Dr. Strangelove, Citizen Kane, Back to the Future, Goldfinger, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Great Dictator, Jaws, Vertigo, Adam's Rib, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 2001, Doctor Zhivago, King Kong, The Sound of Music, Annie Hall and The Modern Times. The soundtrack, killer. BTW, the Million Dollar Baby part?
This is the reason I want to make movies. As George Lucas once said, "In the end, I think I make movies because I have to. Movies are my life. If I didn't make movies, I wouldn't be alive. I mean, I wouldn't know what to do."
dude, i think your video got stolen by some guy called TheMovieGlutton in 2008

"The Fugitive." It's the scene where Harrison Ford jumps off the top of a bus right before a train collides into it.
