woodenshews, regarding isolating new patients: as far as I'm concerned, women with normal pregnancies shouldn't be in the same building as sick people. They are not sick; why expose them to goodness-knows-what? Keep birthing centers separate from hospitals, but close enough that in an emergency, the facilities can be accessed.
claudia, aside from the millions of dollars that i feel you are entitled to after this hard situation, i hope you find the happiness you deserve for the rest of you life. on a side note, way to go for the father for stepping up for his family.
I've become a quad amputee two years ago and im living again recently, im argentinian and im looking for firends...this woman its mi guide to lern again how to love. she gives me a lot of sthraight
I feel the hospital should offer up some compensation. One thing though, a hospital basically does not know or can't control how sick a person might be who walks in their doors. They want to treat everybody who needs help who comes through their doors with respect by helping them get better. They cant isolate every new patient who comes in their doors, there is the human factor. I don't think its their fault, but should say if someone there had it at least.
Confidentiality rules suck when something this tragic strikes. The hospitals and doctors hide behind it and use it against us. I hope she finds the answers and holds accountable those responsible.
This Strep A Streptococcus is a infection that has happened
to a few pregnant moms so the best thing is to have a home
birth and avoid hospitals for a normal home birth esp when
nothing has shown up abnormal with the child while getting
prenatal care. Best to have a Home Birth To Avoid Infections

Claudia worked so she should get Social Security checks with
Medicare which is not much but is better then nothing for her
income and child support checks I think would be included for
her and her 2 children and the husband works so they will be
able to manage and Claudia will have to be the housewife who
stays home while he works for a living.
If Claudia can't be home alone and needs help then their
would be a check for her husband to be her dependent-attendent
to help her program.
