@blingblingshineshine No there are some that aren't in YGE, SME, JYPE, Cube and whatnot.. Some are indie groups, solo singers, even reggae... You can also listen to a group like W&Whale. They are terrific. It's fun to broaden tastes. :)

OMG!!...I really love this song!... When i first heard it, i was amazed by the strong and upbeat chorus haha... their voices are really high!!... Davichi is now my most favorite girl group (Right? this is what you really call a singer, they can really sing not like other girl groups they just sing and volume up the background vocals, for me davichi can sing without a microphone without a music just sing, yes they can

@jleexoxo the reason why ppl like davichi are underrated and not as promoted is b/c of the Idol Industries in Korea. not to diss the idols. but the industry itself has so much money and power that shows like Inkigayo and etc promote Idols more.. and plus Idols get to be popular b/c of their images, commercials and the fact that their style is hip and attract a lot of teenage girls.. That's why most of the good Kpop singer/rappers are underground.

Davichi isnt overshadowed in korea, their songs are in the top 10 downloaded yearly. 8282 was ranked 6th last year and at the same time davichi was nominated in many music awards of best female group just that they didnt win.

Kpop fans overseas may not know them well enough because they dont do much variety shows or promotions

don't know why from 2009 onwards suddenly people so into korean dramas and singers. The dramas are so predictable and stuff.i guess people watch for the actors and not for the show itself. Same goes for the singers, they go for looks rather than talent. As a matter of fact,those korean singers/bands if you do realise, almost all the song is dancing song because dancing song don't require much singing skills and even some with auto tune. I do agree that Davichi are amazing live singers, compared to other groups, and that 2NE1 is good too. However, SNSD and WG has more experience behind them, a catchier songs. All four groups are amazing though, in my opinion.

The thing is that in Korea, idol is the king and queen of music. Idol (Wonder Girls, SNSD, Super Junior, f(x) etc.) will receive more attention since they're often on TV shows, CF, Drama etc and every citizen at all age will recgonise them. While Davichi is a duo, singers so in Korea they're pretty popular compare to all the duo, trio or just ballad singers out there.
