Minors don't have the powers they should have because parents won't allow their kids to mature. They try to keep their children immature as long as possible to avoid having to watch them deal with the real world. The problem with that is it's going against nature who basically tells us via puberty the right time to start allowing your children to learn about adulthood. So girls don't get the shots, instead they get cervical cancer... :-/

But to demonize it to other women and young girls who have the freedom to get it is another. As someone who is close to someone with cervical cancer I know how important something like this is. Parents often times don't make the right choices for their kids especially daughters. You're right, it shouldn't be forced on them, but they should be able to make the choice of having it or not, without parent's consent.
