  • oh if that is the case, does your amtrak or acela have the ability to harbour millions of people and tonnes of cargo from point A to B?/There is a reason for the Indian Railways to be the largest one in the world and the world's biggest employer?? So get lost from here you ignorant little American kid. Before pointing a finger at others remember that the remaining 4 are pointing towards you. Fuck off from here as you do't have the right to be on this web page.

  • amazing..

  • hey! can you make another video....longer video?? This is really cooll!!

Hop on a shatabdi and do this again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Acela Has got only 7 bogies......or to be precise 5 bogies excluding the two drawing cars (engines-one in the rear and the other in front).......as compared to 11 bogies plus a single engine (WAP 7) in shatabdi.........so shatabdi is on the heavier side of the balance......

  • @nikhil007hajirnis

Yeah, Shatabdi is obviously on the heavier side. But that doesn't make the Shatabdi more powerful. Acela is way powerful.. Btw, the power cars(in the rear and front) are an integral part of the train. So that makes a total of 8 cars. Two Acela train sets can even be coupled, thus making a total of 16 cars(make it 15, excluding the one power car that is pulling from the front). Still, it can do 150 mph.

  • THANK DEAR VERY NICE VIDEO

  • what a speed, this train is surely passing through the station at 145+ kmph

i wanna watch it from outside and feel the wind.i dont think it is fast forwarded, not at all.....

  • man .. I should get on this train.

  • Trains in US are fast.....But i love these loud indian trains......chuggin fast through stations......Indian railways rocks......

  • lol... t s sooo fast...the station just whizzes past... i wanna see how it looked from outside

  • Next time I go to India I wanna ride this train.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow...

  • the easy way to measure is...............i think that train is chhatisgarh express with BIA WAM-4..............it is 22 coach train as far as i am concerned.............measure the length of 1 coach and multiply it with 22...............then what u need to do to measure the speed.............indians are already so intelligent to do that!!!!!:-p

  • uff .. the way to measure speed is to count the distance markers on the electric poles nearby ..

  • good job man!! we don't really have these kind of very fast trains in Malaysia..anyway please take more videos of india express trains ( with horns)..i love them!!

  • i totally agree with slipknotshukla. indian railways are the largest. no one travels in those useless amtraks. some indian trains like rajdhanis and shatabdis are damn fast. amtraks are tortoises in front of them. FUK U AMERICANS.

  • @addi138 Shows how immature you are, using typical slum dog language like me, living in ignorance. Yes there is no difference between Bhopal Shatabdi and Acela. Only difference is 150 KM/HR and 150 M/HR !!!

  • @addi138

By trying to praise Indian Railways, don't be a fucking idiot by opening your mouth about Amtrak! Have you even heard about Acela Express? They are almost twice as fast as our Shatabdi or Rajdhani. Don't be a retard and make the other nationals think that most Indians are retards. It's because of people like you that India is getting a bad name among other nationals.

  • @addi138 Come on dude, USA has a very large and efficient Air-network which renders rail services like Amtrak useless..If air travel were that cheap in India, even Indian railways would go bankrupt....Why bring nationality into it??

  • @bangalorebully actually, yes i do agree with you...actually my comment above was meant for an ignorant american kid who brought nationality as an issue for this video.

  • @addi138 hahahahaha..well said....AMTRACKS ARE ALL BULLSHIT..NO OTHER RAILWAYS IN THE WORLD CARRY THE CHARM OF INDIAN RAILWAYS..WE ARE THE BEST.. INDIAN RAILWAYS KAA BAAT HI KUCH AUR HAI.. HATS OFF TO INDIAN RAILWAYS..FOR CARRYING AND CONNECTING PEOPLE...

  • FYI, Amtracks top speed are normally between 80 to 90 kmph and rarely touches 95. The speed at which this one goes is somewhere bewteen 110 and 112 and defnitly not 150Kmph, doon koons!

  • I guess you've not done much travelling. Do you even know how much 110 is... I always do 110 in my car on the highways. And at 110 kmph you don't feel that much on the train as it is highter from the ground level. But then in the car you do feel you're going a little too fast as it's almost ground level. This video and the train speed is definitely above 130 kmph.

  • soothsayer0 you are truly ignorant.

  • holy shnitzel man ... thats fast, i mean fast by almost any standards in the world ...

  • Nice Video...But it should have been for a longer duration...Anyways, nice work !!!

  • in indian history train reaches his toppest speed only once time ..offically...that is new -delhi to agra shatbdi exp....after that it never reaches its top speed..

  • wow never seen a shatabdi doing such speed and a bad comment ur not calculating speed properly its 140 kilometere per hour

not 150 kph ok so try better next time other wise the video was good enough

  • Is your eye got a built in speedometer?

  • No, but a brain does when you measure the time taken to cross the station. You would obviously have to measure the distance of the station which Google Earth will help.

  • that was just amazingly beautiful. thanks

  • That looks really fast. I wish they have a service that goes at 350km/h. That would be great.

Do mobile phones in this Shatabdi when its travelling at 150km/h?

  • yep

  • I stand at new town railway station at 6:25am some mornings and see bhopal shatabdi sprinting at full glory..

  • thats fast but not 150km/hr fast at 150 you should see blurry people standing around and i mean reall blurry daz still kool tho

  • Finest videos ever seen. I must say that we too have high speed trains. We are not far behind. Things will take a turn in 4-5 years time . The process has already begun with new emu trains which can run at 140 km/hr, but now the speed restriction is 100 kms/hr. Rajhdani with its new and aerodynamic design can attain a speed of 160 kms/hr.

  • Love it...let all trains go at 150 at least...we are way behind

  • Marvellous!!! Good Asheesh!!!!!

  • 165km/h should be OK with no modification: i.e. keeping people away from the tracks. The E.U. limit for unfenced railways with uncontrolled foot crossings is 165km/h. Don't worry.

  • its awesome...

  • a bit longer please......wonderul speed ...longer shot upto 3 mtd pl?

  • Excellent , Indian Railways, proud of it

  • Excellent , Indian Railways, proud of it

  • Nice!

  • Whoa! That was cool

  • for all the morons who say this is fast forwarded, you all can go and take a walk in the park!

Hats off to Indian Railways for making the Shatabdi's and Rajdhani's.....

  • @asheeshjoshi I totally agree with you. I downloaded this video (using Dial Up Connection .. :P) from irfca.org , I dunno..like 4 or 5 years ago. This was I think during one of the Bhopal Shatabdi speed trials. Am I correct ?

  • @asheeshjoshi Fantastic capture dude!!!! Really liked the speed.. Good video for other countries to know what Indian Railways is capable of.. INDIAN RAILWAYS THE BEST!!!!

  • that wasnt fast forwarded, the conversation even tho I dont understand language from that part of the country but I can make out some words and you can tell....it hasnt been fast forwarded

  • sucksa

  • thats superfast

  • WOW!! Fuckin Unbelievable! I wish i was there in the train to experience the moment! And hell yeah, the horn in the background simply adds to the charm! Long Live Indian Railways!

  • No this video has not been fast forwarded... Infact this clip has been taken while this train was doing its speed trials. And to set a maximum speed for a train, IR tests the train 20+ km/h than the speed to be set. In this clip, the train is doing 150+ km/h

  • @grandtrunkgt: forgive my ignorance, but how could you tell that the train was doing speed trials? i ask purely out of curiosity. cheers.

  • Great video... you should have made it a bit longer...

  • u can drive more than 93 but u can,t drive in india 50 km/h. coz

  • "Coz"? :-\

  • 150 km/hr = 93 mph.. I drive my car faster than that speed..

  • Ohh okay 150km/hr is normal for a car. All cars in India too can achieve that speed but it's not permissible on highways. and i'm sure 150 kmph is crossing the limit even in the states. But is there a train in US that comes anywhere near that speed is what i'd like to know...These trains are capable of achieving speeds well over 200 km/hr with the sheer power of their engines. However to adhere to 'safety standards' over 180 km/hr isn't allowed

  • india can get faster trains, but the question is how many people and cows you want to run over and kill to achieve such records. life is cheap in india it seems....

india should build fences, and train/car grade separations like in the USA, and Europe to save ppl lives.

btw, metro north trains in nyc are allowed to go 128km/hr for safety reasons, outside of nyc, they are allowed to go as fast as 200km/hr in some parts. amtrak trains can go 240km/hr

  • do n't do the comparison between amtrak and indian shatabdi express...both are unique at their place

  • Do you know. Thats why your country is invading foreign countries and murdering coutless of innocent people. Indians value human life much more then Americans. You obviously dont know what your talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • @gooosfrabaa thats a stupid statement. if indians valued lives more than americans then our healthcare system would have not been so shitty for the common man. povety levels and hunger would not have been skyrocketing. I can understand the anti-american rhetoric, but dont state blatantly false things. In America a human life is more valuable anyday than in India

  • @gooosfrabaa

This is a video about trains. Comparing trains are fine. But why the fuck do you wanna talk about another country?

  • lol are u comparing indian railways to american railways?

I think india has the biggest railway system in the entire world and the amtraks connectivity is SO horrible..jesus...no wonder ppl buy cars and trael all over the place guzzling gas

  • for your kind info .. if you know math you wouldnt have said that coz

    160 km = 100miles

    The formulas used are:

    MPH = kph * 0.6215

    kph = MPH * 1.60934

  • dudee.. first learn math urself.. Ur numbers are perfect but there should be a division sign ( / )and not multiplication.. just google search "150 km/hr to mile/hr" !!!

  • yeah dude. try hauling a few hundred tons of steel with a few hundred people across several hundred miles, providing great service and charging an extremely competitive fare while beating 93 mph in your car.

  • Let's see your car hauling several tons of steel at that speed and then I'll be impressed.

  • go back to usa tart he didnt fast forward the video.

  • fantastic! have to give to the Indian Railways for building such high quality tracks in villages where even good roads are a distant dream!

  • Wow!!! Awesome speed.i liked the horn in the background.good show keep up the good work post some more dude.

  • He fast forwarded the video

  • when u fast forward it u don't get proper voice .. u can even hear people talking at the background.

  • This is shatabdi exp,18 couches, all full airconditioned.

  • its 12 and not 18 !

  • its 11 not 12

  • Wow!!! Even faster than here in the Netherlands.
