Not, well, bad. Their early stuff wasn't terrible but I just couldn't get into it. It's just that they're more "punk pop" than "punk rock". My choice would have been deep purple, iron maiden or motorhead. Hell, I'd even go for canned heat before green day. The good news is you do have decent taste in music. : )

I know almost every Rainbow fan says "Rising" is their fave (and its a close 2nd for me) but "Lady of the Lake", "Gates of Babylon" , Kill the King" and "The Shed" make it number 1 on my list :) and "Rainbow Eyes" is probably the most beautiful Ballad ever written! It's about the legend of King Arthur...The Lady of the Lake is the one who made Excalibur...In the lyrics it talks about a blade....Once King Arthur was wounded he was supposed to throw the sword back in the lake, and she is "waiting to rise on command" because when King Arthur was taken away by the ship he is supposedly supposed to come back as a king again ^-^
