@ThTHELogger If Matt 19v26 is true, ' with God all things are possible ' then surely his grace is sufficient to take everyone to heaven. Surely God is not willing that any would perish 2 Peter 3v8. John 3v17. The ideas of love in the Bible are the candle in the darkness of other parts. Matt 5v38 Eye for eye, if it is the concept of proportionate response, stands against hell as a punishment. Maybe Jesus talked metaphorically of hell = stuff that degrades your life ( Matt 5v22 )

@lovethebroken777 Look at 2 Peter 2v4 which speaks of sending angels to hell, well in original greek they used the word Tartarus rather than the much later idea of hell. Tartarus is an underworld dungeon in Greek mythology. Try Robert Price for the whole, whole story.

Jesus was torn from God his father and sent to hell for three days because the thought of us suffering in hell for all eternity was more horrible to him than anything else. His story is an example/standard for us all to live by even if he did not exist. @AltairE38 I currently go to a baptist church, but i don't really like the idea of denominations. personally i believe that the ONLY way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. When you humble yourself and acknowledge the fact that God is supreme and sent his only son on this earth to be the sacrifice for ALL of our sins and accept his into a forever spot in your heart, then and ONLY then your name will be written in the book of life. Not only baptists believe this though, which is my argument.

@u03pj9 Jesus was a perfect example, not only that but He WAS perfect. He did pay the ransom for everyone, and yet still leaves the choice to each individual for themselves. You cannot in the same breath say Jesus was 'a perfect example' yet say 'it doesn't matter' who He really was....or if He even existed. It might sound unfair, but there is a standard. Without a standard, how else would we realize we need God? How would we even respect God, if He had no expectations or standards?

@lindenbythewater Do not twist my words. I never said that it doesn't matter who Jesus really was. Of course there is a standard, that is the same thing as an example. His story is an example/standard for us all to live by even if he did not exist. There are many great people who have lived their lives by Jesus' example, helped their neighbours for no profit, have no hatred to anyone, even those who hurt them and have sacrificed themselves for others and their cause.

@AltairE38 I currently go to a baptist church, but i don't really like the idea of denominations. personally i believe that the ONLY way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. When you humble yourself and acknowledge the fact that God is supreme and sent his only son on this earth to be the sacrifice for ALL of our sins and accept his into a forever spot in your heart, then and ONLY then your name will be written in the book of life. Not only baptists believe this though, which is my argument.

@Meows7835 Glory be to God of the reality that there is no "best christian" out there. Not in the fathers eyes, for he sees the Son and the blood on the cross that has washed all of us clean. You see, sin is no longer noticed by God once we accept Jesus, as Paul said, we are dead to sin, and alive in Christ! All who believe are given this, so therefore how can one be a "better" Christian than another. There is no bar that we can reach, for Jesus was the only perfect one; and now he lives in us!!

So, if satan hates God and God is in each of us, then does he hate us too. yes. We can never be perfect, not here. When we are one with God then it dosn't matter because we are good enough to reside with him, and if that wasn't perfect I'd be just fine being flawed.

The song is so amazing with and it may be different from Skillet's style but its good to see them doing some worship. The verses included touched my heart and reminded me what Jesus did. Sometimes i need to be reminded of that and this video did just that.

0:46 "even death on a cross" not many people know this, or well people around me, death on a cross is death by suffocation. Now think, no food, no water, the nails through your hands and feet the only thing to help you breath, and Christ did it for 3 days, no sleep, no food, maybe water. He did that WILLINGLY he chose to suffocate so that we me be cleansed of sin and be able to reach God.

@bsauter97 The ninth hour of the third day, because it also says, and i don't have the exact verse on hand, correct me if i'm wrong, that He had been there for a few days and they broke the legs of the two who were with Him to make them die faster because it is unholy to have people on a cross on the Sabath, and you'd be surprised Suffocation takes a while if you can prop yourself up by the nails through your hands and feet. yeah death on a Cross is death by suffocation.
