The atmosphere is amazing, but I have to admit that they did not do the manga any justice as far as character design goes. They should have tried to come up with their own style which made the characters look sleek in CGI, instead of trying to emulate the manga's unique art style. Just because it looks good in one medium, doesn't mean it'll look good in another.
I wish they'd just make a proper Anime already, even if it's like the shorts with little talking it'll still be epic, it is not possible for Blame! to be anything less than that. Now I want to read the manga again for like the 5th time.
the environment / backgrounds are pretty good, the characters on the other hand needs rework. It was made 6 years ago, so i guess Zbrush 4 is in order :) +++.
I'm worried about this. This was my favorite manga, and I feel like the production has been left to an amateur company. I hope these are just the early phases, I really do.

@orhankara85 o.O eh?... of course Nihei's work lends itself easily to cgi. Most of his settings seem to imply a cgi environment. If Nihei made the animation you would not have asked him not to.

Not bad. But nihei is a thing to make 3D. It have to remain scratched.

Blame! manga is manga, nothing else. You did great work here, yet this series doesn't need computer animation, it's awesome on itself.
Keep going on with your graphics, you'll never know when it comes in handy.
