In my own honest opinion, A driver is tasked to make sure that his car and himself is protected against any possible threats. The could have easily spotted the difference between a flooded street and a wet pavement. At some point, the guy is right about a simple barricade or any thing that can warn an idiot that the street is not possible even if it is very obvious that nobody is passing that street.
What you need is to grow up and have your own set of balls to have your own disposition.

The Lao guy was victimized not by his mistake of driving thru the flood. It was his arrogance stating it was everyone else's fault rather than his. We're human, we make mistakes. That driving thru the flood is understandable. But to blame others of his demise? He could have just said it off as "di ko naman alam na malalim ung baha" PERIOD. In my own honest opinion, A driver is tasked to make sure that his car and himself is protected against any possible threats. The could have easily spotted the difference between a flooded street and a wet pavement. At some point, the guy is right about a simple barricade or any thing that can warn an idiot that the street is not possible even if it is very obvious that nobody is passing that street.
What you need is to grow up and have your own set of balls to have your own disposition.

We all do stupid things, sure. But it takes maturity to man up to your mistakes. Had he shown a little moral fortitude to say: "I took a gamble, and learned the hard way", that would have been the end of it. "No worries, chap, at least you got out of it safely". But instead, he blamed everyone but himself, and in so doing invited more ridicule to himself.

What a dumb ass. What's even funnier is that he blames everyone else. When a mistake happens it should be treated as such. Now this fool play victim role. I don't think lawyers are like that. It's just a sad trait of us Filipinos.
