Detroit and Hawks are the two best teams in the league, people that say Vancouver is good. Look what just happened, you just lost another Stanley Cup and never will win one. And honestly, that win in 09 doesn't affect my judgement of a player's skill. Malkin is one of my favorite players, and so is Fluery. But just because he's really good at one thing but ok at the other doesn't over shadow someone who is great at both ends.

@ClownPrince321 Vancouver is good yes all they have is kesler, the sedins, alex burrows. sharks have heatley, marleau, thorton, couture, clowe, and pavelski face it we are loaded with offense more than vancouver. what makes you think its not our year? the redwings are almost as good as vancouver anyways so we have a good chance of winning the series. if anything the real conference final was the detroit series. vancouver had trouble with predators in 6 games so anything can happen.
@2wsedrf I've been a huge Wings fan since I was young, starting in '91. The reason for their sustained success is great leadership. I like the Sharks, minus Thornton. I don't like dirty players & I hated adding Bertuzzi to our lineup, but I understood. Hiring Don McClellan to establish a system like Detroit's was wise and he's in the top 3 coaches easy. This series was the best I've ever seen. I hope the Sharks win but Vancouver this year is tough. Watch for TB next year...they have Yzerman!

@ClownPrince321 Vancouver is good yes all they have is kesler, the sedins, alex burrows. sharks have heatley, marleau, thorton, couture, clowe, and pavelski face it we are loaded with offense more than vancouver. what makes you think its not our year? the redwings are almost as good as vancouver anyways so we have a good chance of winning the series. if anything the real conference final was the detroit series. vancouver had trouble with predators in 6 games so anything can happen.

@2wsedrf I've been a huge Wings fan since I was young, starting in '91. The reason for their sustained success is great leadership. I like the Sharks, minus Thornton. I don't like dirty players & I hated adding Bertuzzi to our lineup, but I understood. Hiring Don McClellan to establish a system like Detroit's was wise and he's in the top 3 coaches easy. This series was the best I've ever seen. I hope the Sharks win but Vancouver this year is tough. Watch for TB next year...they have Yzerman!

They have a tradition of winning, outstanding coaches, an excellent front office, and for the most part class act players. There is nothing not to like about the team. World Championships do not matter to Canada because 90 percent of our best players are playing in the NHL playoffs then. Only the Olympics matter to Canada, and Latvia can never win the Olympics. Canada is Olympic champion, the best is on top! Europeans are 2nd rate players, they get excited about the World Championships which doesn't really count. So, fool, learn English.
