This is pretty silly. To some degree you're right, but a lot of your comparisons in Star Wars were simply ridiculous grasping. Simply because someone shot a scene 20 years before where someone was sitting a table and shot another person doesn't make the Greedo scene a remix, nor does finding slight similarities between ten different films by Kurosawa mean that the Star Wars movies were remixed.
@Danniku I understand that it's not a bad thing. Everything we do is to some degree impersonation. However, a few of these are just a bit out there for me to believe they directly influenced it.
You don't have your facts straight, sorry. Please do a little more research next time. The transformers movie is not based on the (most well known) G1 cartoon. I see you haven't pointed out the far more important comic books.

If I recall correctly, Quentin Tarantino openly admits and already told that lots of bits and pieces are references and hommages to old movies. The Kill Bill movies even start with one: the "out feature presentation" animation. Search for it on YT if you don't know what I mean.

@Iololz No, but all of those scenes did at least inspire and assist the creation of Star Wars. Like Kirby said - creation requires influence.
He's not implying it's a bad thing when he says it's a remix, y'know. And I wouldn't call them slight similarities - they're pretty striking.

whoops little spelling error, I meant to say "our feature presentation", with an r. Otherwise you won't find it. ;) Anyway, Quentin Tarantino rocks.

If I recall correctly, Quentin Tarantino openly admits and already told that lots of bits and pieces are references and hommages to old movies. The Kill Bill movies even start with one: the "out feature presentation" animation. Search for it on YT if you don't know what I mean.
