Tea Party people can learn though; recently, the leader of the Roanoke Tea Party (a two-time GWB voter) stood up at a Republican Party dinner and called out our Congressman (to his face) for voting for the Patriot Act.

These rallies are just mostly conservative dipshits doing what they SHOULD'VE done the last 8 years but didn't b/c their overlords in groups like Freedomworks (Led by former Republican House Maj. Leader Dick Armey, btw) or Americans for Prosperity didn't tell them to! They do whatever their masters say.

I've found that the 912 movements are different around the country. Some are more liberty oriented, and some are more neocon. I've been working with the local 912 group in a cooperative manner. I try not to be condescending or lecture them. They're on the path and are becoming allies. The tipping point was convincing them that our Senator, Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the Senate Minority leader, not only voted for the TARP-1 bailout for banksters, but he twisted arms to pass it.

We converted a lot of people that day, we were out there for a few hours talking to thousands of people. It is a shame most libertarians look down on taking the message to the street, that is exactly what we need! If more people could get the balls to educate and convert hundreds of people at rallies, it would go 999999999 times farther than any internet spreading activity they have done. Sad to say, most liberty lovers look at this and denounce it, because they don't want to do it themselves.

I am usually not this upset, but I was in the middle of zombie land, it was just as bad as being at a democrat rally....most of these people can't see past the 'hate Obama for healthcare' status quo line......it's like they are all drones for the GOP, but we did talk to quite a few real libertarians....and converted a bunch of neocons....so the day was an overall success.

Your presentation makes me wonder exactly what you wanted to accomplish with this video. You go to a rally and call names and mock the people who are opposing government run healthcare and start talking about the patriot act and the war? You were totally unconvincing to anyone who disagrees with you, and you were fighting the wrong battle at the wrong place, distracting from the (common) issue at hand. It looked like you were just there to showcase your own superiority.
