How loud do you find the 574 cab? Does the rubber around the dash make it a lot quieter?

@IH674Cumbria The cab is relatively quiet for a tractor of its age. I wear ear defenders when driving it for long periods. The rubber around the dash does make a difference, it helps the with sound insulation

Ive got an International 574 too. VERy good tractors. and still much better to drive than some of the new ones. ok so more noise and no air con but at least u feel part of what your doing. Gread videos guys. great quality.

@Knobbys9nuts Yea i found them good in tight spaces and being so small yet so powerful. Did you restore it yourself then ? Im in the middle of restoring mine. shes waiting for a guy to bring his gear to re-bore the engine at the moment.

@simonsteam We Carried out almost all of the work ourselves, However that been said the tractor did not really require much work, as it was mechanically sound, but paintwork had seen better days

How does the international handle the baler.

it's able to work the baler no problem, A new set of tyres was put on the back of the 785, it's a fairly basic baler, no chopper or wide pick up which leaves it easier to drive

Thanks, It was cut on the Wednesday afternoon but it rained a good bit that night, So the next day we got bull thick and started bailing as the next couple of days were forecast very wet.

yeah, been there - done that!!! I remember sitting down one minute after having the dinner and next the auld lad goes "right, get the haybob on and row that field beside the house.... I'm taking no chances with this deckin weather!!!"
