Thank you, Sam. My ex-husband (we were married 10 years) is a classic narcissist. It helps me a lot, to know that he is feeling all the hell which he isolated me into. It feels like everything is fair, now. I'm still wondering what made him this way. I do know his parents were manipulative control freaks over him. Also, that he had abandonment issues with his mother--both from birth, and also because she went to the hospital for weeks at a time starting when he was age 4.
SAM - What creates Narcissism? I've read that it can be either abuse or overindulgence (like buying lots of gifts for daddy's little princess b/c daddy works too much?) - living in a household where one parent abuse another / each other? Divorced parents (which has been disputed - usually divorced parents means a toxic environment before the divorce, and magnified during - which is not much worse than two toxic parents staying together and being subject to it regularly....your thoughts??
