  • I am sorry I couldn't be there with you guys. I turned 17 the day the announcement came that it was the end, beginning of end. January 27th 1973. It was made official the following Monday.

Songs? Copy down some of the verses then type those into google. This works for most anything. Check out the dead, wounded, average age, missing: that is a sad one.

  • Grandfather WW1, uncles WW2, me Falklands, son EOD Afghanistan. same shit different decade-Respect. We walk among giants.

  • WOW what an awesome video!!! To see him make it and survive to tell about it was just an awesome film. Some many men caught in pictures and on film and never came home, and you look and wonder, "did he live? wonder if he made it too." Thank you for taking the time to compile the pictures and film so we can look back and see a glimpse of what it was like in Vietnam.

  • Screw YOU COMMIE BASTARD villafane12. Learn how to write you ignorant punk! Every war has innocent casualties from artillery. And since you've already shown how idiotic you are; here's a fact of this war. Many Vietnamese civilians were cold bloodied killers who didn't wear uniforms! Look up Viet Cong on google retard. GOD BLESS ALL AMERICAN VETS!!!

    Very powerful.

  • Thanks for your Service! God Bless all the "Nam" vets. We "drew the line in the sand" in Vietnam, and you know what?? In a way we won the Bigger war against Communist aggression because of that war...

  • What can one say about the quality of training the Americans received no wonder so many were killed.

  • What can one say about the ignorance of some people. So many were killed because the war was directed by politcians in D.C.

  • LBJ: "They can't bomb an outhouse without my approval". Our military leaders had thier hands tied by LBJ. We had the men the spirit the weapons but our "leader" had no balls.
