  • Superbe ! C'est un Mader votre bateau ? Vous devez être un peu seuls dans la région car la série est voie d'extinction vu que Jacques Rogue président du comité olympique s'est fait un malin plaisir de tuer cette catégorie.

  • I would say that the best looking sailing boat is the star

  • @jantiascarreidas I fully agree

  • Hi Adrian, I´m agreeing with you but it´s my subjective opinion because FD is my love from 1968. and it was the first realy fastest dinghi in the last century, beautifuly designed and builded in the bigining of the finest wood with new light aluminium mast and light sails.

  • The fastest Sailing boat upwind definitely. The best small sailing boat on rough sea and strong wind, this is my opinion about performancees of the FD on rough sea and strong wind, also is the best looking sailing boat on the wave. I was injoyed sailing FD in my jouth, before forty years.

  • @kjelovac

FD is a nice boat but there are far better boats nowadays... Ever heard of skiffs?

  • what happens when your leaning over the edge like that and the wind just dies?

  • You get wett(ter)...

  • you get wet

  • You have about 1-2 seconds to get your ass inside the boat. If you don't react, the boat will capsize. No big deal though, the FD is easy to upright and you loose the water through the transom when you pick up some speed.

  • nice work, but couldn't handle the weather that an albacore could !

  • beeindruckend!

  • very nice

  • 34... amazing. and besides, the sensation of speed is 5 times the actual speed :D

  • Great boat, but the 505 it's better! ;)

  • @Gonzissimo Portsmouth #: 505=80.1: Flying Dutchman=79.9. Dutchman is faster.

  • Dutcman's Equipe was faster...

    Anyway 505 is funniest!

  • love the FD....so any of you know the name frank mclaughlin

  • @optilover26

Bronze medal in the FD in the '88 Olympics with Evert Bastet.

  • Great boats!
