  • Great train trip, a couple of years ago.

  • \Anyone else notice that that the little girl sitting on Judith's lap spends the first part of the video picking her nose and eating the excavated bogies?

  • @Hartsheart501 Too late ..I'm already in love with her

  • Has to be my fav tune love it

  • My favorite Seekers song.

  • This was great!! Thanks for posting. Can you imagine trying to do this today...with all the protection agencies in force? The kids hanging off the train...having fun...the protection police would have kittens on the spot. Makes me glad I grew up before all that...was around 13 when this was made....loved it then...love it now.

  • Looking at them this must have been very early on in their careers...

And yes Puffing Billy still runs most days. Was just up there last weekend and it still looks exactly like this picture (except in colour).

  • Love the Seekers, Cheers for uploading :-)

  • Sometimes this sweet song and the vintage images bring tears to my eyes...the Boys look so handsome and Judith is just the picture of pretty wholesomeness. There's so much love in this presentation. Thank you for uploading.

  • @howzitgoin1970 Ah yes ...was there too ...the 60s....the first post war teens ...new music / job prosects / new romances....../ folk coming home from England!

  • Me gusta este grupo!!.

  • Brilliant Upload !!

  • wow this takes me back a while im 102 and its still a while ago

  • I'm 49 now, nearly half a century, but any music by the Seekers takes me back to when I was a little boy in the mid 60's. My parents would have dinner parties, and on his reel to reel tape recorder my dad would play The Seekers, Early Beatles, and a lot of very unusual music too. Those times seem like heaven to me looking back. The world had more space, less cars, less people, and although there was still a lot of bad stuff, the overall feeling was of loving your fellow man. That can't be bad..

  • @adamkincaid1234 Although I've got you by 11 years, I agree entirely...the music back then was MUSIC...not the garbage of today. I was really blessed to work at a small town radio station that was "middle of the road" and could play songs like this...actual vinyl recordings. I sure do miss those days.

  • @catman5169 People have been saying that for generations... I think what happens is that every year produces a lot of "junk" and "noise" and a few gems, then you look back some years later and the good stuff has stood the test of time and the junk and noise has fallen away and been forgotten.

  • imagine having your favourite song sung by a beautiful girl with an angels voice well friends it just happened for me.xxx

  • From the days when children could be children. Although a Who and Hendrix fan in those days, I still appreciated the Seekers. Wonderful memories.

  • it just reminds me of chekychikenhead

  • Wow, what a lovely song. I don't think anyone could have a prettier smile than Judith. I must have been about 11 when this came out, so I could have been a kid on the train (however, I lived in West Virginia at the time). Sure wish I could have been there! Thanks for the beautiful music!

  • Hey, call me old fashioned but I'd rather live in an Australia with Bob Menzies at the helm than the third rate opportunists in charge right now.

  • Some of those kids would be way into their 50's now!!

  • One of my favorite songs from my 20's. I was reading the trilogy, Lord of the Rings, when this song came out and the 2 always come out of my memory together.

  • it brings me back to my schools thanks very much

  • Oh boy,my my, I was a Primary 5 boy. Till this day, Judith is like an angel singing to us. I am so blessed. 20111125@0823am Friday.

  • Judith is proof that Angels walk among us.

  • A very good song ,i heard it for the first time 30 years ago,I have a ford cortina ,and i play it handred times in my car.

  • GOD BLESS THE SEEKERS AND THEIR MUSIC ALWAYS

  • Heaven must be where Judith Durham sings all day :0)

  • Love the Seekers. Never get tired of them and Love this song

  • timeless

  • Wonderful. This song and video just makes you feel good.

  • Thanks for posting! My fave Seekers tune. Was this filmed on the Puffing Billy train outside Melbourne?

  • @PhxRiles

yes it was. Puffing Billy steam excursions still run daily, i believe.

  • Thanks for posting - great sound quality on this. As an american, I mostly knew of the Seekers only via their big hits like Georgy Girl. It has been a real experience to discover their other work and their folk roots. They were great - and judging from more recent recordings - were still great in 2003. Judith Durham is fantastic.

  • memories of my lovely childhood in my beloved late papa's friend's kampung village...i miss my papa who left us in June 2000...i love u papa!!!

  • @tcvicesquad Say What!!?

This is a song for kids sung by a gracious lady

    with a God given voice,you sick f*#$

Go away with your sick thoughts and leave us to enjoy the sound of beauty.

  • @tcvicesquad You moron, this is a beautiful song, sung by a talented group, you must have a sick mind, are you sure you do not qualify as a trafficker yourself? Go away, far, far away!

  • @clbill humourless cunts, the lot of you!

  • Badass song!

  • This is so sweet it brings tears to my eyes no matter how many times I watch it. Australia is such a special place! And Judith was (and still is) a doll! So beautiful -

  • Thank you so much for posting this film. I loved this song as child in the 60's and on the rare occasions I hear it now I always get a lump in my throat remembering what a lovely childhood I had.
