So do most cars in the UK come with a manual shifter standard? I'd say about 80% of the cars in the states are automatic.

@16mmDJ 99% of them are manual. You can get automatic trans on most cars but it tends to be £1000 more expensive. They're also slower, less economical and more difficult to sell on so most people stick with manual.

@lcsxwtian In England we have this amazing phenomenon known as weather. Sometimes it isn't just raining and we experience sun, snow, hail and storms. Just because London is depicted as a grey dreary place in films by Americans and you've seen it raining a few times in videos shot in WINTER doesn't mean it's ALWAYS raining. It's actually been ridiculously hot recently in this country. Does it ALWAYS snow in Canada?

@TheHornyHomunculus Hello thanks for your reply, it's nice to hear from you over there. Depending on where you are in Canada - I am basically from the west coast so it rains all the time in winter while summer is the best time of the year - millions of hours of sunshine and 20ish degree in Celsius. But in the east of Canada it's a lot more brutal in winter: snow as you expect.
