@1967nj I agree that the New Avengers series is not as bad as some Fan try to make it out to be. I love this episode, and Eagle nest and Also Target. I would agrue that the both season of the New Avengers are better than the Linda Thorson series. IMO. Diana Riggs epidosdes are still the best.
Brilliant. Classic TV that can't be beaten by anything these days. This is one of the few NA episodes that can be considered classic (only 'The Eagle's Nest' comes close to this).
Now, where would I get that wig and those face masks from?
I know. I have to have those particular ones, with the bad combover. When I embark on my plans for world domination, I shall use these to 'convey my feelings'.
John Steed's "Big Cat"! The Jaguar V12 Coupe with Broadspeed racing conversion. What a car and WHAT a sound it makes! Of course, many many flaws but in things we instinctively love with our hearts, they are rendered meaningless! WHAT A MACHINE! (And what a show). Brilliant!
It's definitely up there, Although I'm partial to "Faces". I've watched the DVDs a million times. Love the show. Check out the car window in the foreground at 2:21. You can see the reflection of the camera man.
There's a similar shot in "K is for Kill" when Purdey and Gambit are chasing the bloke who's just shot Steed. - camera crew reflected in the phone booth window!!

I also love that giant photograph of Patrick MacNee that the villain has in his lair.
