  • i've been selling stuff at the flea market...it is the ultimate "grey" market!

  • @cycosteve2006 So cool! I want to, too!

  • Curious how you ended up in Redondo? Very very expensive part of california.

  • @utubenoob78 I grew up in North Redondo Beach, so I started my life off there. It was affordable back in the days when the dollar was worth 13 cents. It is very expensive nowadays.

  • @rockstarofredondo so maybe if you move somewhere cheaper your dollar can go further!! :)

  • @utubenoob78 Don't be so assumptive! :D

  • @rockstarofredondo i'm not assuming...its the truth... i live probably an hour east of redondo. I know cost of housing is way cheaper the further you go from the beach.

unless you live in the garage... :)

Well i'm gonna keep watching your videos.... :) Stay safe out there!!

  • @utubenoob78 You're totally assuming that I currently live in Redondo Beach, simply because I was born & raised there. Highly assumptive. Highly.

  • @rockstarofredondo ok sorry yes I was assuming.. But I do know you live in LA as you mentioned it in one of your videos :) Have a great day!!! :)

  • Are you related to G4T?

  • @newsunit No. Are you?

  • @rockstarofredondo No but I know of him. Was just wondering at first if you are an actress here on YOU TUBE as are some others?

  • @rockstarofredondo Not at all. All I do is real stuff. Although I don't tell all my business, nothing on my channel is fake. I may branch out & do some sarcastic vids, but I'm not going to be doing anything scripted.

  • Your SPIRIT and ATTITUDE are absolutely gorgeous. Don't ever lose those.

  • Get some education in the fields you enjoy & can excel in. It seems you have time to make videos, you have no boy-friend now telling you not to or you can't do it. It takes alot of courage to live the way you are but it takes even more courage to CHANGE your situation

  • @willsurvive2012 Send me a donation right away that will cover my school tuition & expenses & I will go to trade school immediately. Lots of folks have lots of bossing around they like to do, but often no help, example above. Put your money where your mouth is.

  • Well there are about 50 something posts (few have been removed) that talk about your personal problems/views. You made the CHOICE to be where your at, just like you made the choice to leave your boy-friend, I understand that it is hard to live with very little money & rent, bills,(pets) & food cost money.

  • @willsurvive2012 However true or untrue this comment may be, this has nothing to do with what this video is about. I was having to sell shit online to make ends meet long before I lived in a garage & that I live in a garage when I made it is irrelevant to the subject. It's very easy for someone like you to get bits & pieces of info about my life, not know the entire story & make all kinds of lofty & condescending judgements about what you think I'm doing or not doing.

  • This video gives me hope. Thank you. what o you mean by black market?

  • @PrepperAZ It's creates an environment promoting dishonesty. Thanks for watching.

  • Black Market Psh.....It's Called Creative Entrepreneurship....

  • @billageguy What it's really called is free market. Hip hip hooray.

  • @rockstarofredondo "Free Market" What Are These Strange Words One Speaks Of?????

  • @billageguy It's this thing that's going to happen in ****the future**** Whoaaaa

  • I love how people who still have internet access, a computer, food in the kitchen, probably a car that runs with gas actually in it etc... Talk like they're actually in the great depression. Get over yourself people, if you are not waiting in a 8+ hour long line to get a piece of bread and a bowl of hot soup then YOU are not living in a depressed state. Morons.

  • @ACLogikel No one listens to people who use name calling to make their case.

  • @rockstarofredondo he or she might be using name calling but he/she have a point.

  • @user37818 That doesn't matter much when no one is listening to it, now does it? :)

  • Have an apartment share for you. Leave for N.Y. today!!!

  • I actually found employment in this economy. And while I have mixed feelings about being back in that life, I enjoy what I'm doing and it's something I can be proud of at the end of the day.

I started a small nursery on clippings, built it up and sold it. Now, I'm going to do it again, just in a different area, closer to where I work.

  • @RustArtRed No shit!

  • a question? i have a business online... if theres a financial global collapse... will one still be able to survive via the internet?.

  • @RevengeIsScorpion Probably. Modern amenities won't cease to exist. Maybe an interruption in service that would be temporary.

  • Coming to you with the cavalry.....

  • There's people who go to Swap Meets and Thrift Stores and find cool stuff and resell it on ebay or craigslist for a profit. My dads a stage 2 hoarder and he goes to the swap every weekend and the thrift store every Monday because everything is half off, and as much as I hate the hoarding he does come back with some pretty cool stuff sometimes. As long as it stays at his house. lol

  • @cityguyable I know about this activity. People can make a full time living like this. It sucks when your parent is a hoarder. I know how that goes. =/

  • Impressive. You're living in the wild, partly outside the tax system. That's a very rugged and frontier-like way to live.

Me? I went the other way and developed my strongest talent into a skill and built upon it until I hit 33 an hour. I also live a frugal life and knocked out my debts (including the mortgage). Now about 30% of my take home pay covers all my spending for the month.

It never ends though. I continue to build my skills and savings and I became a prepper, almost a survivalist.

  • 2, I think I'm going to try subbing your channel. You're talking about some of the things I like. I'm interested in the logic of anarchism although I'm not yet an anarchist myself. I'm also interested in living a frugal lifestyle. And Seeing someone living close to the edge as you seem to be is scary enough to be interesting.

  • it is not complicated,

    the question is simple:

why do someone, ((maybe) supporting feminism),

    support sexism?

there are many ways to earn many, and there are many ways to support harmless and senseful products.

i don not see a deeper sense in it, sorry for this simple answer.

and yes, there is beauty in human/women/men

but i mean a beauty, which don't reduce just on consuming sexuality and consuming women.

just have a look, who is the owner of the playboy- industry

  • @chaijm I empathize with your view, however, I don't think anything immoral is happening in porn or nude magazines, etc.. The sex industry doesn't harm anyone unless they are forced to work in it, which is appaling (example: human trafficking) & I'm not convived any of these girls who pose are forced to do it. Are the guys who run the business sleazebags? Totally. I wouldn't break bread with them. The worst thing about Playoboy is, it's totally fake/photoshopped. No human really looks like that.

  • @rockstarofredondo No offense, but yea they do. Ever been to miami? santa montica? brazil? I could keep going. Just because a mag needs to photoshop the models doesn't mean people don't look like that. Sure, fat slobby meat eaters don't, but from traveling I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt there are MANY women that look like that.

  • @ACLogikel No one looks photoshopped in real life. That would be impossible. I have traveled to all the places you mentioned, & there's no reason for me to be offended. All magazine photos are fake. That's just reality.

  • @MrSmackdown100 Again, I must note that, humor on the web presents as a challenge of some difficulty, and here, you get the biscuit—nice try!

  • 1st, than an anarchist, you sound ever so much more like a libertarian; further, the anarchists whom I knew up in Portland were rather dissolute.

2nd, of course, you can't pay rent. One day on NPR, in his talk about India, this guy from India said that, the principal economic and societal problem in India, was "landlordism". And in this USA also, I can't say how many I've heard talking about how they planned to live from rents—not honorable, . . .

  • @phillipgaley A true libertarian is an anarchist. Look for the youtube vid called "the philosophy of liberty". People just don't know what it means to be an anarchist. Especially lots of the commenters of my vids... =/

  • @rockstarofredondo Between the two, yes, there is some overlap; and you, yourself, are trying to maintain some distinction by using the qualifier "true" for the real libertarians.

In my experience with them both—and whatever their intonations—libertarians as they call themselves, have some money, are coherent and are able to form their thoughts into understandable sentences, are clean and drug and disease free, unlikely to blow things up and kill, do not show up for rallies in support of crime,

  • @rockstarofredondo . . . . in short, in the practical reality as I have seen them, libertarians are everything which anarchists are not.

And "what r doing?". Well, drying food; and finally, I found the best kind of pressure cooker; bike riding; and I hope soon, to be busking; and, would buying and using tools be just too much like capitalism?

  • @phillipgaley Then you don't know a thing about anarchism. :) Please find out & come back for a discussion once you do.

  • @rockstarofredondo Well, most libertarians do allow for government to run the military. The Anarchists whom I knew were interested in selling booklets on bomb-making, and believed in no government at all, that, we're all just going to be touchy feely about everything, and get along because there's just no other way but you're tired and you need to rest for a while—will you please to that? Go to sleep? No telling what you have on the day's schedule, . . .

  • what am I doing?

I'm not worrying about the dollar or wallet. It will crash and the people who are fighting against the system is the same system that will come up with a solution for you.

  • @Xmokko That sentence doesn't even make sense.

  • To survive I am doing what Robert Kiyosaki suggests. Using a full time job to start a part time business. I am a case worker in NYC and I sell metal to scrap yards on the weekends.

  • money for playboy collection????

    don't understand?

-she- is selling a playboy collection?????

thougth this represents an discussion for freeing our mind.

freeing our mind needs also another kind of discussion on sexuality

  • @chaijm That short discussion which mention selling issues of "PLAYBOY" magazine, did not have to do with sexuality, but with the marketing of issues of that periodical.

  • @phillipgaley What I don't get is how someone can be shocked that a woman would sell playboy mags. Don't men sell dildos? Business is business.

  • @rockstarofredondo So far as being shocked, YT has appeared and opened before us a whole new world of strange appearing creatures who and which had previously spent their time living under rocks, as it were, . . .

  • @phillipgaley

of course, in the vid selling sex is not the issue,

    but dealing with sex magazins,

    means simple supporting the idea

    of selling sex and women.

sad, that women support this kind of sex-medium

  • @chaijm What seems to be in simple mis-understanding is rather, I think, in: "dealing with sex magazines,

means supporting the idea of selling sex and women.", seen to be the wrenching effort which you put forth to bridge to a discussion of sexism in its most deplorable view, and in the last sentence, a rendering in personal judgement of most tragic and eternal loss: "sad, that women support this kind of sex-medium".

Tonight, "testizel" put up a go-through of his artist's sketch book for his

  • @chaijm . . . sketch book for his art class. For how many frozen centuries of time past would you suppose that, women have been posing for artists? Maybe, you'd like to criticize the world's beauty pageants, too, . . .

But withal, I think that, your chosen task of turning the topic of making a profit by selling a "PLAYBOY" collection one issue at a time, was not conveniently turned from that of primary consideration, to the tangential one of sexual exploitation. Is English your born language?

  • It disgusts me to hear the media use that phrase...from the lefties "create jobs" and from the righties "we're the job creators". One of the best things to come from this depression will be a whole new stock of REAL entrepreneurs, and they're going to change the course of history before it's over.

  • @Di0genesus Absolutely! & this new economic switch will help shrink & then eventually kill government, as fewer & fewer tax dollars will be going to fund their violence against us. Thanks for watching!

  • @rockstarofredondo . . . . and, "government" can't be killed because, it is a creature of the Id, . . .

  • My son who is about your age makes so much money it makes my head spin. How does he do it? It's the easiest money you can imagine making. You need 3 things.

    1] Buy money- minium $1000

2] You need to know what is real gold, fake, Karats, have a scale and a acid kit

3] Have a scrapper that you can take the gold you buy to pay you the difference

In other words a Cash for gold business, you make your cash daily. He made Half a million last year operating out of his car.

  • @valhala56 Crazy! :D

  • @rockstarofredondo Yeah he bought a mercedes SUV for cash, 3 guns and gave Dad a few trinkets. I'm impressed, He has a nose for gold but it is as simple as those 3 things. Probaly the hardest is knowing your gold, yOU Dont want to overpay and not make any money. The wholesale scrappers are in the phone book and some jewlers buy the gold just below spot price.

Something you might want to check into. Good luck.

  • @valhala56 Great story. Thanks for sharing!

  • Don't stoop to any occupation that makes you feel ashamed or that weakens your positive self-image. Don't do it. You're obviously a person who has much goodness in her and who adds value to society. Stand tall, breathe deeply, laugh, and make positive plans for the future...

  • I wanted to get a car because where I live is very rural and taking the bus can be a bitch sometimes. So I went to an auto auction and got a car for $800 not including state extortion. The blue book value for the car was $2000 so I think I got a good deal. I've had it for about three months now no breakdowns yet. *{crosses fingers}*

  • People should have saved during the good years. I have no sympathy for able people who didn't.

  • I sold a bunch of stuff on ebay that I no longer needed or could afford to keep. I waited until my own personal financial crisis to do so. I am self employed so I just do more work if I need more money, trying to get creative at how to do it.

  • What will you do when you run out of things to sell?

  • @123gwf When you run out of things to sell, hell has frozen over. Another way of answering that might be to relate the example of my friend Roy: at the flea market, for 2 bucks, he found this small brown round plastic thing with a set of Boeing wings on it, put it on ebay and it sold for 400$, . . .

  • @rockstarofredondo, When you said you were selling vintage clothes, I remembered something I saw here on Youtube last year

"Vendor Wins eBay Award Selling Vintage T-Shirts" by defunkdvintage

There may be a useful idea in there for you.

  • hey rockstar. I would suggest if possible learning how to trade the market volatility. Get yourself a td ameritrade account and paper trade (fake money). I am unemployed but am getting by with about 40k a year trading stocks/oil and stuff

  • @RealTalkification Thanks for the ideas & thanks for watching.

  • @rockstarofredondo

Yea just learn to go in there for a few seconds and pull out making 30, 40 bucks at a time using leveraged etfs like faz and fas. thats what i did. I am sadly doing better now that i ever did since I was working .

  • @RealTalkification i am interested in this. what would be the minimum amount needed to start something like this?

  • @djgrooveline

Hey, save up about 1,500$ before you do anything. There is no minimum but you can't make alot money if you do not have alot. I started with my life savings of about 18k in 2009

  • The job situation really isn't much better in northern california. If you go up here without a job you might wind up in a worse situation cause you won't have a job whreas at least you have one where your at.

  • @EWOKCAD There's always prostitution, yet another great black market money-making venture. :)

  • @rockstarofredondo

On a serious note if you ever go into stripping I know which strip club would be your best moneymaker up in san francisco. With your looks I know a club you can definitely get hired at probably. Id definitely throw a few hundreds to you if you come this way. But then again it may be a little too risque for you though so you might try a a more toned down strip club where your not even allowed to touch until you decide if thats what you really want to do.

  • @EWOKCAD Stripping is too cheesy for me.

  • @rockstarofredondo

most people dont get into stripping because they think its glamorous or because they are attention whores but because its fast money and they dont have really any other options to make that kind of money.

  • WOW I just got some great ideas from this vid!!!

Bee keeping!!! It's alot of reward for very little input. Bees take care of themselves for the most part and honey goes for 6-10 dollars a pound - wax is even more

  • i'm waiting for jesus, he'll know what to do.

  • @lucifuehrer lol, great plan!

  • best of luck dear ....respect

  • Yeah you gotta make at least 10 bucks an hour and thats assuming you are working full time with benefits and you dont have a car payment. Throw a car payment or other debt payments and you have to be making even more just to survive.

  • well i payed off my trailer 5 years ago woot been vesting in gold and silver and 0ther every siince

  • Comment removed

  • Darn you forgot your cool intro.

  • @EWOKCAD I can't do the same thing all the time. That would be boring. :)

  • I make my money online from similiar way as Charles fuchs minus the MLM scams he pawns off.

Anyways though I stay with my parents because I can save up a bundle. its hwo I was able to buy a nice fully loaded truck in cash. And I now have a collection of pure gold coins and tons of money in the bank. And my bank account keeps growing too.

I got two options in 2-3 years im going to start traveling the world in a couple years from now or ill save my cash and rent somewhere along the beach.

  • In the last two years I've sold hundreds of my books on Amazon. All these books I've bought new within the last 25yrs, and have sold as 'used.' This past week I received a notice from Amazon that said that I'll have to give my SS# or tax id# before the end of this year or my account will be closed. The message said that they are going to issue 1009 forms for those who do over $20K/yr in sales, or over 200 transactions in a year. Did you get this email from them?

  • @eddiepiotrowski I got some similar notice from ebay a few years back. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I wasn't making anything close to that amount.

  • i bet there were some really good articles in those playboys - on the real. yes there is TnA, but playboy had some good literature behind those titties

  • @djgrooveline Oh, please. You just wanted to say something piggish.

  • @rockstarofredondo

Hey rockstar if you and DJ get in a fight, you can stay with me. Its only 22 miles away from DJ's house. LOL

  • @EWOKCAD Actually, you two have a lot in common. Why don't you guys get together sometime?

  • @rockstarofredondo

I actually dont think I have much in common with DJ. But if you ever make it up here there could be a big youtube party LOL

  • @rockstarofredondo au contrair monfrair'

  • You are too attractive to be living in a garage.

  • @glennwih

I been saying that forever too. Generally pretty women have it easy. Hell even an average looking girl I would do a lot for. Unfortunately girls think Im a freak and Im socially inept so Ill be alone forever.

  • @EWOKCAD Improve yourself with a good diet and exercise and don't smoke or take drugs. Have a positive attitude and work hard. When you least expect it, a woman will choose you. Men never choose, women make the choice.

  • @glennwih

I dont smoke or do drugs and excercise reguarly and usually watch what I eat. Im ugly in the face and my social skills are subpar to see the least. Which means I couldn't get laid with a 100 stamped on my forehead.

I agree with you that women choose men. Women have so much damn power it pisses me off. Thats why im hoping for a collapse, it will be a great equalizer.

  • @EWOKCAD Super models are on the arms of ugly wealthy men. It's your life, play the cards that you have been delt and puiton a poker face.

  • @glennwih

Im not "wealthy" or well socially connected like those people are though.

  • @EWOKCAD Fortune favors the bold - Napolean

  • @glennwih

    good quote thanks!

  • @glennwih bingo

  • Good ideas and encouragement. I'll start to sell more on craigslist and maybe amazon.

  • well i bumped my bad relationship gal and got custody of my doughter 9 years ago and yes decided to be single and do it myself yes you go girl youdont have to be in a relation ship to survive but sur do wish you would date me ...just jokin lol love youre vids good luck from a florida single parent!!!!

  • I'm starting to get fed up with ebay myself!!!!! I've been a member for 10 years, but their fees are getting to high.

  • since you tube doesn't allow web links I'll have to spell it out I hope you don't mind. I wrote an article on the gray market economy on my blog. You can see it at urbansurvivalcraft.blogspot dot com. Hope you find it useful.

  • Get out of the US

  • @pretorious700 Right? I'd love to!

  • @pretorious700 Why should she leave the US ..Are you the President ?

  • God Bless!!! We have to do what ever we can to keep the boat a float, game on. Let us hope things will get better, but until we see a little ray of light, keep at it. Thanks for posting, and best of luck to you.

  • great video,i agree fully with what your saying, people believe the government will help, yet the government steals from others to give to someone else, inturn not helping one bit in any situation.and now people are broke because they baught to much stuff, and expect they can say its the government fault, yet they themself signed the papers or swiped the credit cards, not the government.

if your broke you did the wrong things and have to start over, but the cry babys around america wont fess up to it

  • That's cool! I been working online for over 13 years. I do lots of affiliate marketing and a few Network marketing companies. It's fairly pretty easy to make some cash online, i can send you some info if interested. Las time I had a job was in 1998 working at MCI worldcom when I was 21 and never will be a slave again lol

  • @charlesfuchs Please send me some info! I'd love to chat. :)

  • hubba hubba

  • Doesn't YouTube allow web links? WTF? OK re my last comment google papermoneycollapse

I have been HOARDING food! :o In my attic - a few extra tins each time I shop... :)

  • What happened to 'Welcome to the garage?' :o

We will all have to tighten our belts while we go through the collapse of the fiat money system

BTW What are you referring to as 'Black Market'? Just no tax?

Wish I'd kept my old porn mags - bet there's a huge market for Mayfair...

  • @lcpdesign Black market would be "illegal" goods & services. Gray market would be not controlled by govco & therefore, not taxed.
