knowledge is linear and based on context so hence knowledge is forever changing ... Wisdom is absolute, wisdom is non-linear and experiencial. God only appears when you stop searching, when you simply "allow" him/her/it/ in.
To truly desire understanding is a gift, but most people are simply seeking for things so they could be understood not the other way around as St.Francis so magically put it.
Guilty as charged: I have a compulsive need to understand. This has been a source of both satisfaction and frustration at various times. I do agree, though perhaps rather begrudgingly, that there comes a time--even if it is just as a respite from one's efforts--to stand back and appreciate the mysteries of the universe. xxx

faith is absolute. everyone has faith.
no one can prove the existence or non-existence of God. So either way you are putting your faith in a CHOICE.
