@91loverhsthater Thanks for that comment and the useful information. To expand on this comment, the 17:27 and 18:57 semi-fast Kings Cross to Welwyn Garden City services are both diagrammed to be a Class 321, however this can sometimes be replaced with a Class 317 or even a Class 365 as needed. They both call at Finsbury Park, New Southgate, Oakleigh Park, New Barnet, Potters Bar and Hatfield but the 18:57 also calls at Hadley Wood - which is the travelcard/Oyster boundary station.
When are the Class 313s being withdrawn. Here in Glasgow our similar units (314's) are being withdrawn in 2015 and they were built a couple of years after.
Thanks for the tip which I actually already know about however I probably won't be doing that since I'd rather give my viewers the chance to make up their own mind what quality they view a video in, rather than forcing it upon them.
You can also put yt:stretch=16:9 into the video tags to make the video widescreen however this also something I won't be doing as it's not suitable for my videos. An example would be this video as it makes the Class 321 appear wider than in reality.
I only really said so because I think you can see the 'door open lights' go out completely and then the train appears to sit there briefly afterwards.
Possibly. I've known drivers to sit there for a bit after shutting the doors though. In fact I'm sure there's a policy in place somewhere which states that doors have to be closed 30 seconds before departure?
I use a Kodak EasyShare M883 digital camera which I find excellent for my needs. It's 8.0 Megapixels quality and has 3x optical zoom plus digital zoom too as well as something like 23 different scene modes too. Plus (unlike some other digital cameras!) it does record the audio via an in-built mic whilst also filming the video too.
It's funny really I brought it brand new online without even trying it out beforehand yet once I received it I found it to be excellent in my opinion.
Yes it does look rather 'dapper' in the livery. Despite their downfalls, FCC have done a great job on these 321s in my honest opinion. Many thanks for the comment :-)
These units always seem to be on the 19:10 Kings Cross to Peterborough, if anybody's interested.
