  • Hi

Thanks this tutorial so helpful , just wondering what programme did u use to make the video go faster in some parts and the over voice xxx

  • @Bellagirlie123 that's great--glad you liked it! We edit all of our vids in imovie. xo

  • The before and after blew my mind!

  • @TheMerrow3 Awesome, thanks so much!

  • Horrible song. Nice tutorial.

  • Makeup does look a bit like marilyns

  • What are using for a mascara brush?

  • @meganandjewel15289 It's just a fan brush, I just use it on other people for better control and sanitation. xox

  • crappy song , cool tutorial

  • @HandyHowTos Yeah, they're electric. xox

  • when you smile i think you look a lot like her. this look suits you!

  • wow ive never seen a mascara that was applied with a brush!

  • if you had a smaller or more square forehead and diff eyebrows you could be her twin, gorgeous.

  • @xoelitebabiixo awesome, thx!!!!!! =)

  • @xoelitebabiixo I think if she did more of a "transformational" look, she could have pulled that off.

  • This is nice but Marilyn's mole was always on her lower left cheek and she wore her hair parted to the right.

  • @BadBitchJordynn thanks, that's actually funny, cuz the Marilyn photograph we used was an exact match to our model when she held up the photo. maybe we had an inverted photo???? But basically we did what we do on movies, we match to photos all the time.........guess we'd better make sure they aren't inverted! LOL!! thx!! xoxo

  • @naturesknockout you did a good job! i'm not knocking your skills. yeah that photo is inverted beware of those kinds of photos lol

  • @BadBitchJordynn if u look at numerous pictures of marilyn her part was not always on one side or the other..throughout the years and different movies, it changes. Yes she did wear her mole on her lower left cheek. Her mole wasn't real either, so i guess it really doesn't matter too much, unless u wanted to emulate exactly, she didn't always wear her mole either..

  • @Harlowee those pictures are mirrored. the particular photo they were trying to recreate in this video is mirrored too. i know her mole was not real but it was signature to her appearance and it was ALWAYS on the left side. only time she got rid of it was in 'some like it hot' it was on the last side of her chin.

  • Js to let you know, the beauty mole was on the wrong side.. But great look :)

  • thanks so much! ill deff check that out. i love what you do on youtube with the hole go naturel thang i think it inspires so manny people!

  • @barbi3life19 no prob, happy to help!!!!!!!!!! xox

  • i love all your videos! and im trying to go all naturel...so where do you get your mackeup from???

  • @barbi3life19 thanks so much & good for YOU! YAY! we buy most products online, then rate them and have our faves with many links on our website!! i can't post the link here, but it's in our more info!! xoxo

  • i love Marilyn Monroe! and you did a grait job with recreating her look!!!!!!!!! i love it!!!!!!

  • @barbi3life19 that's so awesome of you!!! thanks so much!!!! xox

  • thanks for returning my ?. big hug.

  • ... fantastic... you rock!!!!!

  • Que hermosa!!! es muy linda , Gracias!!!

  • Que hermosa!!! es muy linda , Gracias!!!

  • @mariodelaluna1 thx, glad you liked it!! the song is Kepa Kruse "Back to The Beach" He's on itunes, we also have his links on the more info on this video xox

  • Hey, great video THANKS! btw maybe a stupid question but are they heated rollers?

  • @missviolin97 Thanks so much!!!! and yes they were heated =) xoxo

  • you look JUSTTTT like her. beautiful!!!!! i love it!

  • @GreenPiano49 Haha, thanks so much!!! Glad you liked it!! xoxo

  • This video would be a lot more helpful if you would slow down the parts where you set the rolls, especially on the sides, and again when you sculpt/brush out the finished curls. Those are the most important and most difficult parts of this hair-do and it's really hard to discern exactly how to achieve this look when it's sped up so fast.

  • i watched the tutorial all the way...

and i must say i am at loss of words!

    you're amazing like (AMAZING)

    :D

  • the hair is perfect. wonderful . marilyns swoop from her widows peak is one of my favourite hair styles

  • When she was doing her eyebrows she reminded me of maradith from the parent trap!! ( the dads girlfriend)

    Great video:)

  • Casey is gorgeous, she looks like Anna Nicole too

  • the back looks especially lovely... nice job!

  • @gogoutube Awesome, thanks so much!!!!!!! xoxo

  • Wow that looks like so much fun! And your voice is so laid back and calming. Great video :)

  • what hair curling things did you use? Thanksx

  • @blah3479 I just used a professional hot roller set, but any hot roller set would give the same look, set it with David Babai Beach Spray and finished it with Chi Organics Styling Spritz. Hope that helps!! oxox

  • I have been looking everywhere for a perfect Monroe look and this video is the best!

I'm a Marilyn Monroe fan freak!

+ all the stuff you are using is eco-friendly. I love saving the planet!

    Amazing job.

  • @kalmehairi Thanks SO much, glad you found this tutorial =) and we LOVE that you're eco-consious too! xoxo

  • Loved this makeup look! I wish I could get my eye-brows to look like that! I always have a difficult time sculpting them! what makeup did you use for the eyebrows? & when you used a brush for the mascara did you just put some mascara on the brush or did you use black eyeliner gel or some other product? thanx & good job! she looked very pretty! :)

  • @lush4makeup Thanks so much, glad you liked it =) I don't remember which brow product I used, =/ sorry. Keep watching our vids and I'm sure you'll see it on a review or another makeover. For her, the color would've been a dark blonde color, probably by colorescience. I used mascara for her lashes, the brush is just how I apply mascara professionally, not on myself. It keeps everything sterile and also gives more control and is less obtrusive around someone's eye area. Hope that helps xoxo

  • shes really pretty

  • Is that your natural hair color? If so it's GORGEOUS, just absolutely stunning and most girls with that color pay big money for it.

  • @huyup123456 It's not her natural, but she's pretty blonde to start with, then has an all over bleach to boost the blonde a couple of levels. =)

  • Great video and your voice is very soothing. Thanks for the video!

  • @mom2landon23 Thanks SO much for your comments, SO NICE!!! Glad you liked our vid! =) xox

  • Incredible what you did! It was a pleasure to watch, however, I find there's a bit too much shimmer in the products.

  • OMG! very beautiful !!

  • 7:09 :D BAHAHA

  • this is awesome but i dont back comb my hair at all its very damaging :(

  • You are welcome!!! I love your videos!

  • The product 'Alison Raffaele Mineral Powder

Foundation, Skintone 7' Ingredient list is :Mica, Zinc Oxide, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, May Contain (+/-): Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides

  • @Reichilu WOW! Yikes, thanks SO much. I'm throwing those away immediately and I'll add an annotation on the video and a note in the more info. We have no affiliation with them, but found them online @ a year ago and they were represented to be free of toxins, but have no ingredients listed on the container anywhere (bad sign usually anyway). But I just saw they are on cosmetics database now, and you are so right, I really appreciate your help so much!! xxo

  • Some of those products used, has Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben in them; I thought you didn't use products with parabens?

  • @Reichilu We're absolutely passionate about staying away from parabens...in fact a new study was just released showing parabens in mother's milk, ugh! We screen products carefully, so I'm surprised you found something we used containing parabens, please let me know which product & we'll check & double check, k? Our fave products are organics, but we focus on safe, so some lines we find safe products in may have other products we won't recommend. Let me know asap, please!! thanks!!

  • @naturesknockout also, I wouldn't recommend prime time as it has silicones in it, maybe you don't mind using silicones though. BTW you did a great job here and love the music!

  • WOAH SO HAPPY YOU DID THIS! i love marilyn monroe!

  • im going as marilyn to a party and this is so helpful! thank you so much

  • You are seriously so talented, I can't believe it. Thanks so much for sharing. I was wondering, is it safe to color the hair that light? I love you guys!!!

  • @makeuphair100 Thanks SO much!! It can be pretty damaging to the hair to go that light, but her hair is pretty light to start with. Our recommendation on bleach is to always go to a professional because bleach does break off the hair if you overlap it. We also recommend oil based OFF the scalp bleach to protect you from toxins. Thanks again, we appreciate your support!!! oxox

  • Beautiful!!!!

  • You, kandeejohnson & heather123 did a marilyn monroe tutorial! lol <3

love them all three tho (:

  • @mariatovar1014 haha, i know, funny, same day even i think!! we saw kandees and loved it, haven't seen heather123's but we'll check it out, thanks so much!!! xoxoo

  • Pretty i love it!!!

  • your amazing at what you do. i honestly love watching these videos. your so sweet and kind, and so helpful. please keep doing how to videos.

  • @livetobeyou1231 We always use little fan brushes to apply mascara on actors. It keeps it more sterile and is less obtrusive around the eyes & also provides alot better control and coverage. But on ourselves we just use our own personal mascara with the wand inside. Thanks so much!! xox

  • what brush do you apply the mascara with?

  • i think that you used the wrong shade of red for the lips, but she looks really good :)

  • WELL DONE!

  • wow she looks so much like her! Good job!

  • You look more like Laurie from That 70's Show. :]

  • I have wanted to start using Organic Wear And I wanted to know if u could do a review on their tinted moisturizer?? plz and thanks!

  • So....I was on photobucket looking at the Halloween Costume section and I stumbled upon your guy's picture!! You're currently 45 out of like 800? COOL!!! <3

  • @ExplicitMissXo Hey cutie, that's awesome!! I forgot I added it =) thanks SO much I'll try to find it, please share!! xoxoo

  • that is a gorgeous tutorial, loved watching it, thanku :)

  • Wow... amazing. You guys are so talented!!!! I wish I could do makeup like that!

  • Laurie! you are SO talented!! i loved to see how marilyn emerged step by step, especially the eyes!! BEAUTIFUL work!!!

  • @JoyelleT Thanks so much sweetie, YOU are great!!! MUAH!

  • Woah! she looks alot like her, lucky devil! ;D

  • Beautiful look!

  • I love her hair color! Do you know what she uses?

  • @TheMir532 Her hair's pretty blond naturally, so she just does a single process bleach. We'll let her know you love it!! xoxo

  • @naturesknockout I figured it was...I'm going to have to start getting my hair done this way again at my Aveda salon!

  • @TheMir532 I don't know the answer exactly, but believe me I'm a pro at blonde hair dye! ;)

She's a level 10 in terms of hair dye. L'Oreal's boxed dyes are very good, I've been using it for years and it's very gentle.

But you could also just look for the number "10" on any brand of hair dye OR tell your hairdresser you want to go up to a level 10. She/he should know what that means.

    Hope that helped!

  • @averunks I actually went to hair school, so I don't use box dyes! I just wanted to know if they used a specific brand (I usually use Aveda).

  • @TheMir532 Oh that's great!! Aveda is awesome! I usually use Scruples bleach, love the shine it produces, plus it's oil based and is more protective of the hair and doesn't sit on the scalp, which reduces any risk of toxins being delivered into the bloodstream! YAY!! good luck!! xoxo

  • @averunks Thank you, though! :)

  • do you guys use only organic stuff?

  • @honeybun000014 We use "safe" products with no suspected toxins in them, which includes many natural and organic products (our faves!) You can learn more about which toxic ingredients we avoid and why, please check out our website, especially the "i-spy" page. xoxo

  • u keep saying "bedroom eyes" u mean porn star eyes

  • Love it!!!!! You even have the swoop down with those magic hands!! ;)

  • WOW! SOOOOOOOO TALENED!

  • marilyn's twin! Perfect!

  • i think she has to little hair for this look..it looks more like she's just got out of bed....and i'd do not so much pink on her lid...but exept for that, i really like it

  • Wow, this is awesome! You got the hair PERFECTLY. I'm amazed! Your videos are always fantastic.

  • Hi girls! Sorry I haven't been communicating lately, love this video it's awesome! I'm more and more aware than ever of using natural products and I think it's great you're spreading the word!
