This dance is quite appropriate for the time period. Jetes & chasses are considered old-fashioned and passe in the mid 1800s. Dance manuals of the time state you should walk the dance with an elastic step. You must be dancing an earlier period quadrille when the steps are still balletic.

I'm sorry, but this dance has no rights to be a quadrille. Real Prince or Principe Imperial is mach more complicated dance, expesially steps Jete, assamble at minimum.
