@RichardElden Factually incorrect. He was employed, but not as a wage-slave, he earned his keep from others by maintaining a dignified protest at the UK's disastrous foreign policy, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. I don't know if he received state benefits, my guess is he did not, as he would not be eligible for Jobseeker's Allowance.

So many people in this world are apathetic, they feel dis empowered and don't think that one man on his own can make a difference, people like Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Brian Haw show the world, one man can make the difference.

He is a great loss to this world, I am sure his message will live on in spirit and that message will grow stronger over time, the government's one day will need to face the people on their murderous wars.
