My point is that we shouldn't single out Mid Eastern people when the problems of adjusting to their adopted country is one that is universal to all migrant groups. Taking a 'heavy handed'aproach in dealing with these issues will only make matters worse especially when you bring fundamentalism into the mix. The real answer is in going to the heart of the problem which is a history of harsh colonialism which has come back to haunt Europe.

I have neighbours, friends and co-workers that are muslims or from the middle east and I find them to be great friends, respectful, gracious and hard working. Es un error de la parte del gobierno chileno al dar refugio a los Palestinos. Los Palestinos se pueden aceptado por otros paises arabes: Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, etc., donde la mayoria de la poblacion es musulman. My point is that we shouldn't single out Mid Eastern people when the problems of adjusting to their adopted country is one that is universal to all migrant groups. Taking a 'heavy handed'aproach in dealing with these issues will only make matters worse especially when you bring fundamentalism into the mix. The real answer is in going to the heart of the problem which is a history of harsh colonialism which has come back to haunt Europe.

I have neighbours, friends and co-workers that are muslims or from the middle east and I find them to be great friends, respectful, gracious and hard working. There have been problems with some, yes, but I'd say no more or less than any other migrant group. Australia's success lies in INTEGRATION - something many European countries have failed to do.
