  • The Santanoni Range is to the right of Skylight. The Mountain behind Allen is the North River Mts. and Rist Mt. Nice view that I experienced back in 1995.

  • Thanks; we came up the Bartlett Ridge Trail from Lower Ausable lake, and went back the same way but via the loop after Little Haystack. The trail from Bartlett Ridge to top of Haystack is very steep but well marked. I'd rather go up it than down it.
