... but no one is learning from their example. The same is happening all over Zagreb now, there's glassy skyscrapers appearing everywhere, and then just staying empty. It's like every capital city seems to think it has to be Manhattan lately.
On a nother note - sand? Really? Over here they put salt on the roads, to keep them from freezing. I guess it works but it's also pretty mean on certain types of shoes, haha.
Oh god, it's all the same, everywhere. Even in Iceland. I must say I'm surprised and a bit disappointed.. but then I probably shouldn't be. I mean my idea of Iceland has always been - "rational country" but maybe that's a bit romantic on this level. Capitalism is the same, everywhere. On the subject of excessive construction I always remember Berlin - it went bankrupt because they built too many gigantic office blocks like the ones you pictured here, and there was no one to buy them. (....)
Cool! It's always interesting seeing around someone's home town. I met two more Icelanders last week in real life, so apparently I now know 0.001% of the population.
(... sorry ran out of space)

Yea, maybe it wasn't as bad as I was describing. Well, I'm so obsemistic.
Sand sand sand. The salt is not very nice to your car. It eats into the car paint. Hehe.
I'll do some country side video this summer.
