@TheDarbyface your correct, there is a species giant squid found new, liveing on a depth of 2000m. they live in the dark deep sea. these are unknown becuz the mass of this beast decaps when the pressure flows awa. and u get a mud blobbin washin ashore. chanses are really slim that such a thing would even make the surface. the size of this Giant Squid is set to 32.8 meters. it is only filmed alive ONCE

maybe there are bigger octopusses (or octopi?) than the usual ones but if you search for the "kraken" you have to look at squids not octopusses. the Colossus Squid can be up to 39ft long and maybe there are much bigger ones out there so that would be the one to search for.

I could definitley buy a giant octopus in the Sound, though perhaps only 2-3 times as big as the Giant Pacific species at best. Even then, that's a 20-30ft legspan, easily big enough to drown a diver
