I think Fantasy was just messing with Clam. After a failed 4-pool, you can easily finish the game with a sunken bust if you're just a bit careful and know what you're doing. The dropship and wraith were just built to make use of his tech, while waiting for the Battlecruisers.

There are some things more important than money, especially to a Korean. Check out the end of any OSL finals. Both guys in a final end up winning a hefty amount of cash for 1st and 2nd place, but one guy will be celebrating, and the other guy will be close to tears. It's definitely not about the money.
