Had this for breakfast this morning. I'm a big fan of oatmeal, but usually have it with 2% milk...guess that might be where some of those extra 10 lbs came from. ;) I made this with water, as suggested, and it was tolerable. It's just going to be a change from eating it with milk, but it is a healthy breakfast option that's also quick and easy for those of us with little time in the morning. Thanks!
i love love love this! could i eat this as lunch instead of breakfast because this keeps me full in the mornings but in the evenings i tend to over eat or snack to much
Hey Mike, I love your recipes and have tried the cinnamon roll oatmeal but I add blueberries in that and half the recipe due to caloric restrictions (trying to cut right now). I have a question about the water to oatmeal ratio: you use 1.5 water to 1 cup oats but some other recipes do the reverse so if it's a cup of oatmeal they say .5 cup of water and others are a 1:1 ratio. Do you know what the difference would be in terms of how the dishes turn out?thanks. cheers.
Hey I have a question is this too many carbs for one meal or no? Because its about 85 carbs including the apple and I just want to know if thats to much to eat in one meal if your trying to loose fat, Or should I be fine? Btw love your videos always the first ones I watch when I get on youtube.
In fact you should be careful with cinamon because its toxic it self, to avoid that you need to boil it for some time in water or something i`m not realy sure about that.
cinamon conatains curcamin which is a chemical, and too much cinnamon intake can cause high levels of curcamin and it can make you sick and possibly be lethal, but for that you need to eat ALOT of cinnamon.
curcamin levels vary in different types of cinnamon, with ceylon being one with the lowest level of curcamin
@burbuliukai What is it with all these people finding any opportunity to criticize Michael?? You ask for a recipe with no Protein Powder, he gives you one. Yet you still find ways to criticize and complain. If you dont like it theres something you can do thats VERY simple just hop off this page.
@leanbodylifestyle all i can say is you cant please everyone. so please the majority and let the others keep to their own demise. like all of them great vid thanks a lot
@JVM113 I`m am not critisizing him, I enjoy his recepies as much as others. I`m just sharing the information about cinamon. There is absolutely no offence here. Jeeeez.......
@narezul Yo stevia is good don't worry it's has been used for thousands of years and comes from a plant I use it and honey! It's not like aspartame or anything.
Hey good recipe. I did this with oatmeal before but i usually end up eating the miserable cardboard version(plain oatmeal cooked in water) because my mornings are kind of hectic.
But cooking the apples a little makes them taste so much better.. I think the heat releases more sugars in the apples or something.
Hope you are well Michael. I am one of those that likes it with the protein powder! It took me a long time to even get used to having B-fast I used to go the whole day without anything but coffee :-P
idiots gonna idiotate...
