Supposedly the Purdins shared a practice space w/ treepeople and I recall their being 2 drummerz and 1 wuz in built to spill. They have opened 4 alice and chains and elliott smith's band heatmiser. I have a 7" by them that came w/ a condom(i still have the package the jimmy hat got used on sum dum ho. Lionel Richie cardboard cutout lurkz proudly @ their house!.
I remember a house party at Zacks Tony was in a giant apple costume and cound't fit thru the back gate. I even still have a power rangers mask from a show.
The very first time I partied with Zach and his friends (about 20 years ago), I was 15 and my friend and I drank way too much and we passed out. Zach and his friends drew things all over our bodies with sharpie pens. I had the word "POOP" on my lower back with an arrow pointing toward my butt. She had a Harley drawn on her belly. Those guys were so much fun. I miss them. Thanks for posting this!!!
I miss this band so much! The singer (Tony) & bass guitarist (Zach) were great friends. They even let me live in their recording studio for awhile ~ about 13 years ago. I remember them talking about putting out a second album, but I don't know what happened with that. I think it was going to have a song called "We're All Going to Hell."
