In Ontario, Licensed Paralegals (P1) are governed by the Law Society of Upper Canada and under legislation P1s can provide legal advice and represent clients at some courts and tribunals - ie: Criminal law, P1s can independently represent summary convictions cases.   • I'm curious about becoming a paralegal, do you know how long it usually takes to become a paralegal if you don't have a bachelor's degree. -And thank you for the videos I enjoy learing a little bit more about our great legal system every day. -Mike-
