It's kind of funny seeing these types of video clips at this moment when I am not overweight any longer - my dirty little secret is DietOramy diet plans program (Google has some more specifics) - that thing truly taught me to be transform my body, overall health as well as my whole life.
simple sugars is what the human species was designed to run on - not protein or fat. We are frugivores by nature! fruits & veggies is where it's at with very little nuts & seeds.
Yes, and as for the Lean Cuisines... the "high carb" part. What if a person is highly physically active? I'd assume a person involved in either long distance running or cycling (etc) would need those extra carbohydrates. Wouldn't you say? I would. And I'll say it again and again. Let's keep it simple folks. Workout more than you eat. Thanx.
As for the 100% juice Odwalla - the sugar contained in these beverages is fructose. There is no added table sugar. None. Zippo. A person would be better off eating FRESH fruits/veggies, however, for those with a hectic/fast lifestyle consuming these little drinks at the RIGHT TIMES of the day (IE: post workout where the sugar helps spike insulin to force vital nutrients/protein to the starving muscle hence boosting metabolism) would be ideal.
I appreciate your informative videos. I am seriously considering buying your book because you seem to say things I haven't heard before and I'm vegetarian who is looking to eat a more balanced healthly diet. I like your video personality as well.
Great videos, please make more,Vegan, And can you show Boca products and morning star products. And can you explain as to how much sodium and carbs we should have in our diet?
High carb, low fat keeps you energised. Im not sure what Kardenas is on about! :) People get fat from eating FAT! not carbs..the body stores carbs as glycogen and our body burns it in our daily activities.
The fat we eat is the fat we wear..the carbs we eat is the carbs we get to thrive on! :)
@durianriders what a comment full of fail. if u consume more calories than you burn, you will put on weight. simple as that. doesnt matter if the excess energy comes from fat or carbs
from your logic, drinking 3litres of Cola would be better than drinking 3litres of water with a drop of olive oil in. which one of those 2 options do you think will make you put on most weight?
What is great for me? I am starting in my perimenopausal(sp) stage of my life and my hormones are so our of whack..........It has made me gain weight. I have ALWAYS been a size 6 at 5'8" and been thin and now am a size 10/12 and having a fit over it and I cannot seem to lose the weight no matter what I do. Help me.....:-( Ms. Efish
@MsEfish: To get a grasp on how much you're REALLY burning it would help to look into a Body Bugg (bodybugg.com). They're pricey, but MAN well worth the cost. It's based off science. A must-have for those who are truly stumped as to why they're not losing (assuming you've checked with your doctor that is).
I recommend flax seeds as a nice addition to salads and my morning sandwich (dark organic rye + sesame butter + a little all-furit-no-sugar jam) This has been my breakfast for several years. It is tasty, fast and easy to make, and fills me up all morning.
