Just talking about this performance at work. I remember liking this song back in the day. And this version a few years back. (Thank you You Tube) And watching it again, I really think, for her age, she really knocks this song OUT! Diana Ross was on a week or two before LuLu, and just wasn't that good. Embarassing! LuLu really stepped up to the plate as an older, sorta famous in the decade singer, and at least TRIED to hit the notes & did IMO. I applaud her. And Glee sure did her song justice

I saw the movie as a small child. She was beautiful then AND beautiful now. I think that performance ranks with the best I have seen on that show! She is great!

I saw the performance and was floored. I remember when this song came out when I was 10 or 11 years old. I liked the song then, and like it better now the way she did it; she put her emotions into the song; kind of like, "I'm now 59 and I've finally arrived. She's been through a lot since 1967 (haven't we all!). You try and sound that awesome at 59 years of age! I took a peek at her performance when she was 19 singing the same song and she is light years better than then; wine ages with time!

She looks great for almost 60 and if anyone thinks she was off tune towards the end, well you and Simon ahould both get your ears checked. If I or anyone else on U Tube think they look as good vor sound as good at 59 or 60- good luck. Lulu rocks and she looks every bit as good now as she did 40 years ago when this originally came out. Way to go Lulu.

I saw the performance and was floored. I remember when this song came out when I was 10 or 11 years old. I liked the song then, and like it better now the way she did it; she put her emotions into the song; kind of like, "I'm now 59 and I've finally arrived. She's been through a lot since 1967 (haven't we all!). You try and sound that awesome at 59 years of age! I took a peek at her performance when she was 19 singing the same song and she is light years better than then; wine ages with time!

Its a glissando you plum...like sliding (usually)up to a note...she sounds ok to me!!

Diana Ross, in my opinion, was horrible. Age has not been kind to her and her and Lulu are about the same age. I was told she is rude in real life. That's a shame.
