  • Well, thank you for paying my respects.

  • suck the internet I will be miss all good times comming to store and get a movie, I used the trial for net flix and I can tell I didn't like the format video sucks

  • movies, games, music downloaded fresh from your cancer box. it's 8:37pm im sitting alone in the dark on my unwashed couch, doorbell rings, it's my groceries being delivered, i'm watching a netflix movie, my microwave tv dinner has melted plastic over it which i chew incessantly. all my schoolfriends are 37 year old 450lb virgins with xbox headsets shouting at nameless gamertags belonging to devolved ginger teens. reality has melded with the stillness of yesterday. game over

  • Oops, typo alert. That should have read:

The same is true of floppy disks, despite being used since the early 80's.

  • Welcome to growing up! Many of the stores I remember have long since closed. I remember when my local VHS rental shop closed (yup, I said VHS) back in the mid 90's. Kind of a sad moment for me as I realised that video and audio cassettes were soon going to be gone and forgotten by the masses. The same is true of floppy disks these days, despite being happily used since the early 90's.

Someone told me you can rent videos on YouTube, but not looked into it myself.

  • How do you get all these amazing video ideas? :)

  • @IamMaaliter - I don't think that my video ideas are anything spectacular, but thanks! I get my ideas from anything that is currently happening in my life...or anything that I randomly think of :)

  • Nobody likes sean faris xD

  • @eusouoestuca - haha.

  • All the Blockbusters in Portugal have been closed...

  • @eusouoestuca - :(

  • It's sad.. but it doesn't surprise me. In Spain we used to have Blockbusters, but they have been closed for years now because nobody rents movies anymore. The reason is that here it's legal to download movies from the internet via Pirate Bay and such. Actually, this reminds me of something I read a while ago. American film producers wanted to stop selling DVDs in Spain and South Korea because not many people buy them :(

I have rented a lot of movies in the US though, and that was a experience

  • @Cbbyosoy - it's legal!?! Wow. It is definitely illegal here, although I think there are some streaming websites that you can use. Idk, I just don't like watching things on my computer, and I like to see them in the best quality with the best sound.

  • @Cbbyosoy of course! TV is always better. A couple years ago I didn't like watching anything from the internet because the quality was horrible, but nowadays you can find most movies in HD and connect your computer to the tv to watch it there. I actually started doing this to watch tv shows that were aired in the US before in Spain. I just don't like to wait.. and there's always the risk that someone tells you what's happened if you weren't the first to watch it.

  • The blockbuster in my town is closing too. :(

  • @socaljessicalynn - ahhh :(

  • Blockbuster RIP

  • @achigurh - agreed.

  • Right? I got so many things from Blockbusters....

  • @Clarklikescereal2 - SO DISAPPOINTING!!!!

  • @SkunkMoney Even sadder still, I don't have Netflix :(

  • WOAH! LOL
