DAMN this game looks good. Combine that graphics with physics engine from life for speed and we have the best driving game in the history. For now we just have the best simulator in history (LFS) :P

they should really get rid of the TYPICAL Gran Turismo TIRE SQUEAL... its so unrealistic, they should make the noise a bit more realistic and make the cars have less under steer... that will be the deciding factor for me whether i buy GT5 (not prologue) or not...

The tire squeal is gone.. ever since the update. it has been muffled... and you really have to get the car sideways just to hear even faint of it. and the engine sounds have been increased on all cars..more growl less like theres a engine in the exhaust. and yes the physics have been treaked...

Actually you're wrong. It's a driving sim(NOT Racing)meaning it was designed to ease people in slowly to appreciate cars more and allocate skill.

I like how people who play GTR2 and LFS(BTW I think that game sucks) portray Gran Turismo as EVIL because it sell more copies than their games. Gran Turismo could murder LFS if Polyphony wanted to but instead they want to make it as real as possible without making it frustrating. With that said GT does has its problems and so do GTR2 and LFS.

another thing thats missing is the rev counter lights that run from left to right along the top of a 599's steering wheel to let you know when to change up a gear. minor things i know, but if you know it's there your going to miss it!

Great game, I bought PS3 just because of GT. Can't wait for it to come out. Polyphony created nearly everything I ever wanted in a driving sim by creating GT. It'sbecause he's playing with automatix transmission I think. You can only see the driver shift when ur playin in manual mode.

The car and environment sounds are pathetic. The Ferraris sound appaling as do all the cars, including the annoying screeching tyres. Turn on GT2 and the cars sound the damn same, so much for innovation.
